Gardens

The Mansion was no fit place for the likes of a Giant. A feared warrior who had felled many a man on the battlefields in the wilds of Scotland. Least, that was what one would think as they saw the sad excuse of a man with shoulders hunched over returning to his part of the Mansion. The Gardens. Oh, it was green and peaceful. Wild animals that were caught up in the dreaded force field were to share the lands with the ginger haired giant.

“I don’t belong here.” Douglas lamented as he trudged along. A branch got caught in his path and whipped around him so fast that it sent a family of squirrels flying faces first into the dirt. All you could see was their wee tails all..fuzzy and standing up amongst the green of the grass and moss.

Taking off his favored pig skin bladder, he brought it up to his lips and tried to squeeze what little drops of scotch remained, but sadly it was as dry as the desert. Douglas tossed the wine bladder to the ground and then found himself a fallen log on which to sit. Few things brought him any comfort in this hellish place. Scotch, and a good yarn. Now after being tricked by the waif like girl in the cellar, and robbed of what few coin he had to buy more, the Giant was feeling a touch sorry for himself.

Oh, he had tried to break through the invisible barrier on the edge of the forest and each time the Giant was thrown back only to land in a heap. It was frustrating to say the least.

“If only I could remember…oh aye….if only.” He like many were lost. Lost to their past…and with not much of a future to look forward too. Looking down at his hand, he rubbed the gold ring he wore on his left hand. Was it significant? Did it mean something in a past life? It was just another mystery. The only thing he knew…was that he was good with an axe. A weapon in the right hands, but to a Groundsman, it was just another tool in the shed.

Douglas placed his hands on his knees and leaned forward letting out a sigh. He wanted to fight…he wanted to do something that would change the lives of people in the Mansion. He longed…for home.

“Come back here, you little..!” Quinn called out, running after Mason. While at first she’d been loud, eventually she’d faded to complete silence.. even though she was gaining speed. Something about this. Something about this chase triggered something. She couldn’t quite place what, instead deciding that she would get Mason later as she spotted her giant friend looking rather down. “Duggie!” She screamed, just a few feet from the giant as she had flown silently at full speed.. that had been his only warning.

Barreling into him at unhuman-x miles per hour, the two were knocked down onto the ground and rolled with large thumps. “Hey, look alive, would you?” A grin as they stopped their roll, the 7-foot tall woman straddling him as though this was something they did everyday.. which, really, they did. A grin accompanied this, though she watched Mason as he slowly returned to them. “You know, Doug, that thing that happens every once in awhile?”

By this, she referred to the feelings of her memories returning, often giving her great headaches and terrible pain. Him being her longtime friend, he knew almost everything about her as she did about him. “I think it’s happening.” Though the whole time he she held a grin plastered on her face as pain began to spread behind her eyes and to her ears.. A couple of minutes or so and she might be on the ground, out for the count. Which, had happened before.

The Gardens

Though others may have been enjoying the quiet surrounds of the gardens, Douglas was like a big lump on a log. Well, he was in all truth. Shoulders sagging and muttering to himself with his heavy accent. Few would understand what it was like to be such a large brutish looking creature surrounded by…short attractive types. Douglas had the kind of face that only a mother could love.

Douglas would have continued to sit and mope upon that log, but turns out that he was the target for his one and only friend, who was rocketing towards him at such speed, that the impact was going to be spectacular.

“What the….?” Famous last words as he was hit with such force by Quinn that it literally knocked the wind right out of him. Over and over they rolled, collecting all manner of leaf litter, twigs and the odd furry creature till finally coming to a stop with Quinn straddling the Giant…as she did.

“Hey, look alive, would you?” Quinn had already picked that Douglas was on a downer. The Giant lay there as he pulled a disgruntled looking rabbit out from under his kilt, tossing it over his shoulder. The Giant then tried to show something that resembled a smile, but with the lack of a few teeth it looked a bit odd.

“If this is living, lassy…I rather be dead.” The Giant said off the cuff, before showing interest in Quinn’s query about that thing…that happens once in a while.

“Ya shagged a vampire? No…no, I jest. What ‘appened, lass?” Douglas now showing a more genuine expression. He knew about the headaches that came when she got flashes of memory, something that Douglas didn’t get.

“I think it’s happening.”

This usually meant one of two things. She was going to scream from the blinding headache…or pass out cold. Either way, Douglas needed to be ready.

“Oh…aye. Right. “ he found it odd however that she always grinned as the pain accelerated. Kinda like she enjoyed it. Either way, Douglas prepared himself for what was coming.

“5…..4…3…2…1.”

Douglas closed one eye, squinting it tight and held his breath watching her.

Mason ran through the forest dodging branches and jumping over hedges as he ran through the forest. Being a little nosy he plugged his headphones in as he wondered what her taste in music might be. Carrying his luggage it was quite tiring as he still didn’t have a shirt on at the time. Feeling the night breeze he continued running as he saw two figures in the distance. Jogging towards them it appeared to be Quinn and someone he never saw before. Jogging up to them he introduced himself with a friendly smile. “Hey, I’m Mason.” Not one to jump to conclusions as he saw the precarious position, he blew past the obvious and continued to listen to what was going on. “What exactly did she mean by that?” Mason thought as he watched the series of events play out. A grin was on her face but it didn’t seem genuine, almost as if it was stuck in place. “Are you alright?” Mason asked just going out on a hunch. Something just didn’t feel right…

The first time this had happened, she’d screamed and held her head, crying in hysterics that she couldn’t see and was blinded. Douglas had been around for that very first one. Needless to say they’d been friends for quite a long time. Though usually the doctor couldn’t do much, only Ophelia could truly help her by taking away the overflow, but the medical wing provided a place to stay and kept the headaches at bay.

Gritting her teeth and locking her jaw, Quinn dug her nails into Douglas for a moment, before looking up at Mason, “I really do apologize.” And suddenly there was searing pain, a hand moving up into her hair and then to her temple, her breathing quick…

And then there was a burst of light. She was running, her paws thudding heavily under her as she watched the woman – well, demon in a human form run away. She knew that it wouldn’t escape her, it was pitiful to try.. and thus she snarled, throwing back her head and howling. The soul was red, it was time.. and with a single leap of all fours she closed the distance with ease, clamping down to the very soul of the demon as she screamed…

Quinn had fallen forwards to the side, almost cuddling into Douglas when she’d fallen to the ground as he’d moved to catch her. Her eyes moved rapidly under their lids, her jaw locked as she breathed a bit quickly while the memory came to her.. When it ceased her eyes stopped moving and she became still, her breathing slowing as she fell into a physical state of sleep.

The Gardens

Given the warning by Quinn made things a little easier for the Giant who had been privy to Quinn’s “happenings” before. This time however they had company. Mason showed up just as things were about to go out of control and the Giant called out to him.

“Block ya ears..laddie.”

Sure enough, Quinn let out a blood curdling scream while Douglas winced in pain from the clawing that the girl inflicted on him as the pain in her head intensified. The girl fell slightly forward as she came down from the affects of the release of memory and Douglas was quick to catch her. Propping himself up, he changed his hold on her so that he would be cradling Quinn as he pushed himself up to standing.

With a good grip, the Giant said. “This is a doozy. Right, off to the medical bay. Only place where she can come out of this safely.”

Douglas wasn’t sure if Mason knew where that was, or even if he had been given a tour of the grounds. He knew Quinn though. Douglas’s kilt swayed back and forth as he lumbered off towards the Mansion. The giant’s concern for Quinn was greater than his own woes, or even that of his search for the coin thief. That could all wait. Glancing over his shoulder at Mason, he quirked a brow.

“You always carry your luggage with ya, Mason?” The Giant asked, wondering just how new this creature was. He had picked up on the name of the fellow when he arrived on the scene. For once the Giant was being polite.

Mason wasn’t sure exactly what was going on as she was in terrible pain. Analyzing the situation Mason couldn’t even come up with an idea on what to do. Hearing the quick advice given to him by the giant he quickly covered his ears. Even through the cusps of his hands he could still hear her wail as she seemed to be in desperate pain and he was helpless in the situation. It slightly infuriated him even though they just met she was still someone that needed help. Listening to the giant he nodded gathering his composure as he tagged along to see exactly was going on. Seeing the giant noticed his work clothes he changed out of in his bag. Flashing a smile as he let out a small chuckle he said “Well no, I went to the gym straight after work. Just a change of clothes.” Looking at the coma induced Quinn he looked back up at the giant with a condescending smirk on his face seeing as it seemed Quinn should get to the medical bay as fast as possible”Just how fast can you run Mr.Giant?”

The Gardens.

“Just how fast can you run Mr.Giant?”

“The name’s Duggie, not Mister Giant!” The Giant roared as he picked up his pace in his race to get Quinn to the medical bay. As his sandal covered feet thundered across the grassy plain, he added with a few huffs and puffs. “Faster than a frog can fart in the dark. Now, get a move on”

None of that probably made any sense to Mason, but the Giant was on a mission. His green and navy kilt was rising and falling as he lept over fallen logs and bounded over rock ornaments. It was quite a sight to see a Giant run, depending on if you were looking up or at a height you couldn’t see under his kilt. Hard to believe a ginger haired giant had hair down there.

Quinn’s body bounced in the Giant’s arms, though he had a pretty good hold of her – she would still appear to be like a rag doll. Her lanky legs flailing about. The Giant had seen her go through this before and it was never pretty. He hoped that the Doctor was in this time, in case her visions would bring about some sort of terrible reaction. It was the Giant’s greatest fear.

He crashed through the doors on the ground floor and sped down the hall, before pounding up the spiral staircase to the floor where the medical bay was.

IceTe3a: The early morning chill set in fast as it seeped through the tiny cracks of the window sill, last night’s union was a show of passion and true love between himself and his wife Eryda. Slowly his eyes opened revelling his bright yellow hues, glancing to the right side of him was Eryda half covered on top of his chest as she slept soundly, a simple smile was on his face as he slowly rose out of bed allowing Eryda to sleep in. Slowly he strolled; passing windows as he opened them to allow the cooling breeze into the room, taking out his pipe which was stuffed with fresh tobacco, a simple spark allowed the tobacco the start smouldering as he continued to puff away at it. It wouldn’t be long before Eryda was awake as he knew they would need to gather what supplies they need to make the trip up to the guild masters meeting place, but not before they got something to eat. Quietly he starts to strap on his blackened leather pants and torso, preparing himself for the trials ahead. Once he was ready he smiled as he walked over to the bed once more, leaning in he kissed her cheek, “We need to make a move on darling” as he leaned against the wall waiting for her to wake up, he wondered how Cali was faring. : The kingdom had accepted Vlad’s new bride to be Xyria was everything he needed and more, as he smiled looking her over again, his teeth bared slightly as he held her hand gently “Come, shall we entertain ourselves for the night.” now came the true test, Vlad had accepted her into his arms and called her his own. But he wanted to see how dominate she was.. being a noble female she like all others thought of males of nothing more than toys to entertain themselves with, she boasting so much but would she be able to step up to her word. The doors to the balcony shut as he lead them back into the throne room which they were completely alone, no one dare disturb them at this hour. “Politics can wait for another day, wouldn’t you say” he smirked as he took to his throne again, looking her form over slowly.

CharlotteCarrendar: At the other end of the hall, Cali was already up. Seated on the edge of her bed, she was threading on her gauntlets and snapping them into place, before placing on her shoulder guards. Her fingers moving slowly over her flesh with care as she stared forward. Cali’s mind was in a right state. She couldn’t get the Witcher out of her mind. Even when her eyes closed, that raw pounding need filled her and she was brought little to no relief. Her curse had now erupted into something far more dangerous. She tipped her head slightly forward as her hand lowered from the spiked shoulder guard. When she had arrived in the lands, her first thought – her only thought was to find her husband, her mate and bring him home. That was before she had tasted the Witcher’s never ending renewable energy. His magics….his power was intoxicating. Like a fine wine to that of a drunken fool. Cali’s lips parted as she tried to stifle a cry of desperation. The blood elf was now starting to regret ever having met the Witcher. The night before she had him fall to his knees at her feet and she fed in what was a state of bliss. She engorged herself to the point she was almost sick. Cali slowly opened her eyes and went to stand. Her head shaking as she snarled – angry at herself. ~”What if I lose control? What if…I have a frenzy?”~ this was what was raging in her mind. Cali had to be strong. She had to remember what she was searching for. Before it was too late. Gathering her pole arm, she headed for the door and went out to the hall. The Blood elf knew that the Witcher was with his love – his mate. Dread filled her. Slowly she headed downstairs to wait for the time to leave. :: The throne chambers of the Vampires were abandoned by all the servants and court in waiting. A wise move, for the newly anointed Queen and her King needed alone time, in order to truly cement this relationship. She had said she could be the dominant, and she wanted to do more than prove herself. With stealth she approached her King, walking around him and then as she stood in behind, she reached around, tearing the very buttons from his shirt as his material gave way and she gave one last tug as it fell to the ground. His back fully exposed to her she licked her lips in anticipation. A lone hand moved to the back of his head and seized his scalp, yanking it back to her as she bent her head, her lips to his ear. ”I mark my prize….with lust.” She no sooner dug her claws into his chest from behind and dragged them to make him feel her need to be ravenous with him. :: In the other end of the tavern Eryda stirred to the Witcher’s kiss. ”Mmmm more time…more…that.” The red haired witcher mused, before rolling over, her sheet slipping away to expose her ripe bosom to his gaze. ”Good Morning, my love.” She mused as she slipped out from the covers and brought him into her arms. ”I’m hungry.” Her eyes danced as she winked at him, so happy to be with him again.<3>

IceTe3a: He watched as she rose from her bed, his eyes looking over her perfect form, as she brought him into her arms he kissed her neck softly “ We shall eat before we resupply or you could have a go at feeding off me ” his arms wrapped around her naked form as he drew her in closer with a smirk against his lips. He was happy that they were finally together and they could work as a team becoming more powerful to no ends. His fingers trail up her back as he slaps her ass “Get dressed, I’ll meet you downstairs for a meal “ he smirked as he walked his way out of the room and downstairs where he noticed the empty tavern with only few here for a morning meal, Cali was the last he noticed as he gave her a slight nod before coming to sit at the same table “How do you fare Cali? “ he knew that Cali was finding it hard having Eryda around, she almost seemed shy which wasn’t like her. “We eat, resupply than move out” he leaned against the table slightly and glanced her over “Tell me if you need to feed again, no need to make you starve” he smiled lightly as he just offered himself up to her once more. “:he watched as she slowly walked and disappeared behind him, he heard her words as his skin shivered, as her claws dug into his chest and grazed their way up, his lips parted slightly as he growled playfully. “ I am your object after all” he smirked as his eyes glowed a dark red, wanting to see her wild side, as he gripped her wrist and swung her to stand in front, he pulled her to stand on the throne towering him as he leaned in and kissed her skin softly “ I am yours” slowly he looked up towards her, his eyes getting lost in hers almost hypnotizing him into a state, his fingers ran from her legs up her stomach slowly towards her chest, he wanted her to go wild and have her way with him, “And just what object do you see me as in this moment” he smirks as he was interested to see how devious she was.

CharlotteCarrendar: – Eryda laughed at her mate’s suggestion that she feed off of him. She was a witcher, like he and she did not feed off another creature. Not like Cali would. For a moment, Eryda’s eyes darkened. The knowledge that the Blood elf fed on her mate last night still heavy in her mind. She had to push back any jealous thoughts. It would only serve to corrupt her and that was the last thing she needed. Eryda had decided to stay at her mate’s side rather than go off on her own like so many times before. This was going to work for them. It had too. His kiss was full of love and admiration and when breaking it, he urged her to dress so that they may be on their way. ”Of course. I shan’t be long.” Eryda said, as she watched her beloved leave their room. Left to her own devices, she dressed quickly, and thought about the day that was ahead of them. A meeting with the council. Oh there would be harsh words said, she knew that for a fact. A war with the Vampire Queen was a very real possibility, and the other witchers would be none too happy with that turn of events. They were supposed to be neutral. Yet now they had to take a side against the Vampires, whose alliance had been broken by the Queen’s lustful taste for the Witcher. What was it with women and her mate, Eryda wondered. All she knew was that she loved him with a whole heart, and nothing could ever change that. Down at the food hall of the Tavern, Cali was leaning against one of the support beams, with no interest in feeding on that of mortal food. While many around her did eat, the kind of food she needed was talking to her. She actually averted her gaze when the Witcher offered himself if she needed a feed. It took every ounce of her being to say. ”No, I’m good for now.” She wasn’t really, but she felt she had to lie. Dare he see the glowing green hues that were a strong signal of that need. She appeared by her body language as though ready to make a move. Course, they had to wait for Eryda. :: The Queen loved the King’s enthusiasm, the wild fire of red in his eyes. The way he seized her wrist and pulled her around before him to follow him to the throne where he stood her on the seat so she towered over him. She felt the light press of his lips on her skin, and she gazed down at him, her urges rising and building within her form. Her lips parted as she snarled at him ”You are mine…and will do what I want. You are my toy for pleasure.” Her feet parted and she tore away the flimsy cloth that covered her lower regions. Gripping his head, she forced his head forward, and ordered him abruptly. ”Tease me with your tongue” He would be unable to resists, as her clawed hands worked his head forward, nails digging in as she let out a cry of passion. <3>

IceTe3a: He looks Cali over slightly, as he nods “As you wish” he orders a meal for himself and Eryda while they wait for her, he glances back to Cali “After we’ve informed the guild masters we make way to your husband, I dare say this Is the last town we will be in before there, I suggest stocking up on what you need before we leave.” As the inn keeper brought over two plates of various cooked meats and foods he was tossed a few gold coins for the food and sent on his way. Glancing up at the stairs he noticed Eryda walking down towards them, as he smiled lightly at her. As he set into his meal he knew Mersa would be outside waiting for them, wanting a meal of her own, he would have to stop off at the meat vendor to find a suitable meal for her. He smiles as he welcomes his wife to the table, still chowing down on the cooked meats, “The masters won’t be pleased with me being there let alone single handedly starting another vampire war”he glanced between Cali and Eryda expecting an answer of some kind. : he saw her rip of her clothing as she claimed him as her own once more, his head gripped slightly as his teeth bared slightly, he could feel her nails digging in as she demanded he pleased her with his tongue, without choice his head was slowly forced down towards her, his hand gently gripping behind her leg as he licked his way up her inner thigh slowly, his teeth grew as they grazed against her skin. All the while his body was shivering from her nails digging into his flesh, the feeling of her dominating him was more than enough proof to what her claims where, but he was more than happy to appease her. Slowly he made his way up closer and closer to her folds, working his tongue as he did, hearing her cries of passion had his body shiver even more.

CharlotteCarrendar:- Eryda cannot help but notice Cali the blood elf who was standing a few feet from where Xo was eating his meal. The two women exchanged a glance, before Cali gripped the edge of her cloak and headed outside wordlessly. There was an uneasy feeling, and Eryda had to brush it back as she took her seat opposite her husband.”Are the Guild masters ever pleased with anything you do?” It was a fair question, and had more to do with how this Vampire war could have been averted. But knowing the Vampire Queen, she would have gone after Xo no matter what had happened. Tucking into a piece of bacon, Eryda dipped it into some egg, before popping it into her mouth and chewing thoughtfully. She didn’t bring up the fact that she had seen the Blood Elf, nor did she want to get into another discussion about the woman. The sooner they found her mate and sent her and her husband back to their own world, the better. It was one last thing to worry about. Taking a sip of juice, the red witcher held her cup for a moment, before asking; ”I bet the Guild will be surprised to see us together.” Eryda knew that many felt Xo was a loner, and to have his woman back, there had to be a darn good reason. :: Xiyra let out a growl of distinct pleasure as her toy worked his tongue between her warm folds of flesh. So eager was she to be pleased by this her King, she gripped his head forcefully whilst her hips began to push forward so she could direct his tongue further. ”Please me! Deeper!” A throaty call singing out as her body glistened from beads of perspiration that ran down her body. Her long nails pierced the flesh of his scalp, and dragged across as she used him to satisfy her thirst for lust. Standing upon the throne, she was an imposing sight. Almost in a trance like dance – her body fully exposed, though he would not see it. Her head tipped forward as she let out a loud gasp and her tongue slithered out and licked her full lips- <3>

Ice Te3a: – He watched as Cali disappeared whilst he was eating, he assumed she went to stock up her supplies. As Erdya came to sit in front of him and start to eat her meal, he was half way done as he continued to scoff it down, hearing her ask if the guild masters are ever pleased. “They are displeased because they know, I cannot be controlled. It’s been years since I’ve stepped into a guild hall of the witchers” he smirked slightly as his yellow piercing eyes were casually glancing over at her. He finished his meal and leaned back with a happy sigh of relief as he smirked at her next comment and nodded slightly “ Reason.. Simple, I prefer you to be with me, without you the nights are long and cold.”he glanced outside a window as he saw Mersa laying there patiently for them to come outside, people were keeping their distance “ We are wasting daylight, once you’re done we shall resupply” he waited for her to complete her meal before he got up and escorted her out of the tavern, turning around he kissed her cheek softly as his fingers slowly slipped out of her hand “Meet back in ten” he knew they both needed to resupply but they both utilized different methods, so he went off to his own shops with Mersa in tow, the first shop he stopped at was a local meat vendor, purchasing a large deer like leg he threw it in the air as Mersa caught it in her mouth, happily laying chomping on the fresh meat. He left her alone to finish her morning meal as he went through various shops and purchased herbs and plants as well as other alchemy ingredients some which the mundane would question what he intended to do with. He stopped at a trinket shop as his senses picked up a magical aura, he walked through as his eyes scanned through the various jewels and trinkets finally coming to a ruby stone encrusted with gold setting and a necklace feeding through, picking it up he knew it was a magical relic. One from the ancient mages, it affected ones magical powers increasing the strength and magical flow throughout the body. Something you would find on powerful wizards or witches, to amplify their power and allow them to use more magic without becoming too over exhausted. Taking it to the counter he pulled out a solid gold coin, the shop keeper thinking no worth of the necklace snatched the coin up, if only he knew its true value.. it wouldn’t be so easily parted. Walking out he met up with Cali and nodded slightly, “We’re leaving now.” Eryda came up behind with Mersa following behind, a bare bone in her mouth as she looked happy. Walking over to Eryda he greeted her with a lovers kiss, as he slipped the necklace around her neck allowing the ruby jewel to hang against her chest, she would almost instantly feel the effects “A gift.. for you my darling” A simple smile and love in his eyes was all the emotion he showed, a rare feat for anyone else by Erdya. : With her fingers gripping his head with force, he heard her moan and cry to his tongue, her hands dragged him in; forcing his tongue in deeper as he continued to work her and pleasure her to her exact needs. His skin crawling as he could feel her nails digging into his scalp, his right hand gripping her leg with slight force to keep him balanced as he pulled her leg inwards off the arm rest and onto the air letting go, a playful teasing tactic whilst he pleasured her.

CharlotteCarrendar: – Some distance away, the displaced Vampire Queen was already in the middle of plotting her revenge against the likes of the Witcher and his followers. One of her lower servants dragged before her one of the Mundane that had been captured just outside the town where the Witcher was currently staying. The wretch was thrown in a heap unceremoniously by the vampire servant who bared his fangs at the man, before giving him a hefty kick in the sides. ”Bow your head, you are in the presence of greatness.” The vampire guard ordered, as the Queen stopped her pacing and glanced down at the fallen mundane. She slowly raised her head and stared at the guard. ”Well…what is it with bringing such a piece of filth before me.” Her tone was heavy and she waited impatiently for an answer, tapping her foot. ”Captured this piece of meat outside a town that is said to be where the Witcher is.” The guard bowed low before the Queen, before giving the mundane another kick. The man cried out as the Queen descended the stairs and then ripped the hapless mundane up and off the floor. Her scarred face more than enough to scare anyone witless.”Speak…before I end your worthless life.” The man cried out as her nails pierced his flesh and he blurted. ”The…White wolf. He has the red witcher with him. They are off to the …the..guild.” This was indeed not what the Queen wanted to hear. So that bitch with the red hair was back in her lands. Dropping the mundane without a care or thought, the Queen started to plot. ”Send out spotters. As soon as they leave the enclave of mundane…we set upon them on the road to the Guild!” She then put out the order to her guards, to send out a garrison. ”Kill all but the Witcher. For he is mine.” :: Eryda had wandered around the market stalls, picking up supplies for the long road ahead, this was when she spotted Cali going over to meet with Xo and the Warg. Eryda paused a moment, her brown eyes narrowing. She hated feeling jealousy, for her mate had not done anything to show he loved any other but her, but still…she worried. Approaching the Witcher, she was taken into his arms, and then given a special trinket. A necklace that contained a magical ruby. Instantly she felt the wave of magic wash over her, and this brought about a smile. ”You spoil me so.” She said in a voice that was only meant for him to hear. Cali mounted the Warg, ready to move on, as Eryda got her horse. Now it was time to move on. :: The Queen’s hips thrust back and forth as the King’s head was now pressed deep to her. Higher and higher her cries grew, until he had brought about release. She shivered from the shock as the new Queen would tame her beloved. Xiyra only drew back, when she was thoroughly spent. <3>

IceTe3a: He smirked as he heard how pleased she was with his gift, he watched as she got up on her horse and Cali was sat on Mersa, he sighed lightly as he walked over and jumped up on top of Mersa as they took off with Eryda’s horse following in tow behind. “Let’s get a move on” as he lead Mersa along the path towards the guild hall, only thing was the trail led up the snowy mountain, which was a treacherous path in its own full of natural dangers. Let alone the monsters that live on the mountain terrain it was defiantly a dangerous path to take, as they reached the path it was sure signs that they were on the right path as the dirt met with the snowy plains, he smirked as Mersa shook her fur with the change of temperature, he wasn’t bothered to much the temperature’s never bothered him too much. You could hear the howls of wolves and other creatures in the distance as the wind picked up and the snow started to fall “ Cover up and stay warm”he said as Mersa picked up the pace as they passed through the mountain trail as his hair whipped around with the winds he almost was camouflaged with the white snow as his yellow eyes glanced over to his wife Eryda as he smiled lightly. “We should reach the Guild hall by noon” : He heard her pleasure moans until she finally got down off him totally satisfied with being pleasured. He wiped his mouth and smirked slightly “Done already? “ he leaned back against the throne as he sighed pleased with the union with him and his new wife. “ We are perfect for each other” he smirked as his eyes show a blood red.

CharlotteCarrendar:- The wind upon the mountain had a distinct chill as snowflakes started to fall. Cali pulled her cloak around her tighter, and reached for her hood, to cover her blonde locks from the falling snow. She was not used to these changes in temperature, unlike the Witcher who took it in his stride. Eryda rode on in behind the warg, though she was dressed a little better for the change in weather. Wearing the special jewelled necklace, that shone out beneath her fur cloak, she smiled as the heard Xo call out that they were to cover up and stay warm. No doubt riding the Warg would be warm to have between your thighs. As they made through one snow covered pass, there were shrieking shadows, that seemed to zip between the trees and snow covered rocks. Something or someone was following them. Eryda’s ears pricked to the sound. Was it a wolf, or something larger? Witcher assured his wife that they would be at the guild by noon, which was reassuring, but she sung out back to him. ”I fear that trouble may befall us by then…or at the very least cause us to be late.” :: As the Queen climbed down off the throne, she snatched up her discarded robe and draped it around herself. A smug expression as she still had a colouring to her cheeks to show she had been more than satisfied by the King’s attentions. ”Indeed we are suited. And yes…I was very satisfied. Next time however I think I might restrain you.” Such a tease. <3>

IceTe3a: His eyes looked around through the snowy fields and falling snow as he tried to scan the area for any beast that may be stalking them after hearing his wife’s warning. “Perhaps you are right” he stated as he continued to scan the area, no doubt something was out there most likely in plain sight to them as most creatures up here relied on blending into their surroundings to hunt their prey. Perhaps a wolf.. or another pack of trolls had found them, although you’d be able to hear and smell a troll as they weren’t the silent stalkers, but this creature was. “Best we press on until we find our stalker “ there was no use wasting time searching for something that didn’t want to be seen, surely enough it would show itself at one point of time. As they trekked on you could see trails from various creatures that had used this path previously, more so a dire bear seemed to use this path as a game trail of sorts, the foot print was larger almost three times the size of a normal bear although he doubt that was the creature stalking us as they preferred a more brutal and front on approach to hunting. As time passed they climbs up the mountain’s trail, about three quarters of the way soon they would be on the peek which would flatten out and turn into snowy forests and open plains, in the middle was the grand hall in which all the guild masters met, no one but the masters and their second in command were allowed at this sacred place. : he watched her with content as she was still recovering from the playtime, her words of restraint could be a thing of the future had him smirking, a single brow arched as his lips parted “If only you could pin me down” he came to a tall stand and walked around her slowly before coming to a stop in front of her, it was true his strength was unrivalled though he never used it to gain more stature, would she be able to pin him down on the floor? She would have to use tactics and trickery for an advantage over him, that much was for sure. His fingers caressed her cheek gently as they slid down her neck and across the side of her stomach with grace “What plans do we need to discuss, I know we need to bring people to titles of power.. commander of the army so forth.. but, it all seems dull to be honest” he smirked as he looked her up and down slowly.

CharlotteCarrendar:- A large gust of wind, and then the dark shadow rocketed out from behind a large tree – flying straight at Eryda and knocked her fair off her horse. ”Arrrrrgh!” The red witcher let out a scream as she was taken by surprise by this creature. The black hooded being forced the Red witcher into the snow. As it tried to choke the red witcher on the ground, Eryda fought valiantly to kick the creature off her. No doubt one of the servants of the vampire Queen’s whose order was to destroy the companions of the Witcher. Cali turned to look back and saw Eryda’s horse rear up and then run off in fright, as the two wrestled on the ground. She leapt off the back of the Warg. Her cloak flying off her shoulders as she extended her arms. Green flaring orbs building up upon each hand as she chanted a magical incantation to give her more power. This would drain her in the long run, but for now, she had a gut feeling she needed to save Eryda. Eryda kept trying to strike out at the shadow being whose hood flew back to reveal a bald head, covered in scars and scratches. It screeched loudly each time Eryda tried to strike its head, while it drew it’s claws tighter around her neck. :: Xirya laughed at the King’s taunt that he would love to see her try to pin him down. He rose from the throne, his size alone made him an imposing sight and this pleased the Queen all the more. ”You don’t want to discuss armies and tactics. Not…when there are pleasures of the flesh to be had.” Her hand reached out and she caressed his cheek. She went as far to chew her bottom lip, still coming down from the dizzying high that he took her. ”Enough chain and leather and you would be surprised what I could do.” The Queen mused. ”That….is what you want, isn’t it?” <3>

IceTe3a: Hearing his wife’s screams his head turned to face her as he saw Erdya’s horse run off into the distance, Erdya on the floor with a cloaked figure on top of her, he noticed Cali had dismounted and gone to Erdya’s aid. He smirked slightly as he dismounted Mersa, “Mersa.. Get the horse back here.. Alive please” Mersa grunted and ran off after the horse in order to bring it back to them. He stood there and watched as the two girls struggled with the creature, it was obviously sent from the vampire queen to do her bidding. His arms folded into his chest as he knew they were more than a match for this creature. Suddenly another screech came from the distance as he felt the sense of another creature coming from the side, raising his right arm he caught the creatures neck mid flight as he continued to watch his Wife and Cali battle the other creatures, squeezing the neck of the creature until he heard a crack his eyes were glowing yellow as he was pissed that someone would dare attack his wife, this always made him unaware of his strength as he tossed it off the mountain cliff “She will pay for this insult.. Eryda enough toying around” he heard footsteps as he glanced back it was Mersa with the horses reigns in her mouth leading it back to them, he smirked slightly and gave Mersa a pat on the head as he grabbed the horse’s reigns and waited for the girls to finish toying with the creature. : he nuzzled the fingers of his new wife and smiled as he nipped the tip of her finger. Hearing her prefer pleasure and play over the antics of the kingdom was a surprise to him but one he rather enjoyed her preference, “To be under you? Of course, Do I as a male not belong under the heel of your boot” he smirked as he was only stating the truth of how females felt of males, he bit at the air as he wiggled a finger at her daring her to pin him down and attempt her worst, “Let’s see what pain you can inflict” he winked at her as he enjoyed playing these games with his new wife.

CharlotteCarrendar: – Cali started a slow march to where the two were wrestling on the ground. The thunderous sound of the Warg racing off to get back Eryda’s horse would have the blood elf turn her head momentarily, before settling back on the two that were still in the midst of a fight. Oddly enough the Witcher did not intervene. Perhaps he was curious to learn how the two women would dispatch the assassin. Obviously it had been sent by the Vampire Queen. Another tried to make an attack on the Witcher himself, but he was faster – gripping the creature’s neck and breaking it as though it was a twig. He ordered for Eryda to stop toying around, and you could hear the red Witcher laugh at her husband’s demand.”With pleasure.” An earthy growl escaping her lips as the red ruby crystal that she wore around her neck glowing fiercely as she brought her head up from the ground and head butted the creature fair in the forehead. It reared back grabbing the sides of its head when Eryda then used her fists. Joined together she brought them forward to slam into the creature’s chest, causing him to roll off winded. At this, Eryda leapt to her feet and then shook off the snow, as the creature tried to grab for her ankle. As it did this however, Cali’s green orbs had charged enough that she fired them at the creature causing it to go into a series of convulsions. Squirming and writhing upon the snow in agony. It was highly likely that the being had never before encountered a Blood elf before, but this would be it’s undoing. Taking off her pole arm, Cali twirled it before slamming it into the ground creating a tremor like shockwave, that threw the creature skyward. Airborne, it flipped over and the Blood elf let out a violent scream as she absorbed the energy of the shadow creature in one go. Eryda walked right past Cali and simply went to take the reigns for her horse from Mersa’s mouth. ”Thank you. Shall we?’ She said simply, getting onto her horse as Cali was still panting heavily. The red witcher smirked and gave her horse a light kick and started off again. She wasn’t waiting up, and this would leave Cali behind if she was not careful. :: The Vampire Queen loved her King’s teasing. He wanted pain, loved torture and the Queen was more than happy to oblige him. She walked around him simply so he couldn’t see what she was doing, and then took out a leather strap. Grabbing his hands behind his back, she tied them together, and tried to force him, stomach down onto the floor. <3>

Shane is now wise to Carmen’s behavior.  But is it too late?  Amelia is also clued in, but she needs the help of Charmaine, to uncover the truth.

As Shane was talking to Amelia and the twins were speaking with Mary, Neema took the opportunity to do some snooping around. She carefully searched through the bedroom for any clues. She had been angered upon her awakening to discover that thousands of years had passed and that she had not been entombed with her most prized possession. Seeing Carmen had given her cause to take possession of the woman so that she could not only regain a body, but to hunt down the one who had stolen her personal property and make them regret the day they were born.

A spirit on a mission, Neema was going to get what was hers, no matter the cost.

She stood in the middle of the bedroom, her face a mask of rage as her search had turned up nothing. She quickly rifled through Carmen’s memories and saw the most recent one of her talking to Shane about a box. Neema looked at the scene carefully. It was not the room she was standing in.

She opened the door to the bedroom and peeked into the hall. Not a sound could be heard, which suited her purposes just fine. She stepped into the hall on silent feet, quietly closing the door behind her. There were many rooms on the upper floors of the mansion and she put her hands on her hips, annoyed that she had to look through so many rooms.

“Who needs a house with so many rooms anyway?” she grumbled to herself. With a sigh, she started opening (or trying to in the case of locked ones) the doors to see what was behind them. Most of the rooms were bedrooms set aside for various “family” members, if the amount of personal belongings in them were any sign. She didn’t have a clue as to how to get into the locked rooms and bypassed those for the moment. There was no indication that the room she was seeking was on the upper floors.

Moving toward the stairs, Neema peered over the banister. She could hear muffled voices but she had no idea as to which direction they were coming from. Griping the banister, she carefully made her way down, cringing when one of the stairs made a slight creak that sounded loud to her ears. She paused and listened to see if anyone else had heard the noise. When no confrontation was forthcoming, she continued down.

Reaching the bottom landing, she took a listen and realized the muffled voices were coming from the direction of the family room. She made a point to not go near that area and turned instead in the other direction. Shadows on the wall indicated there was someone in the kitchen. She made a face. She needed to go by there to get to Shane’s office.

“Ibn el Ahba!*” She hissed. How many people were in this damn house? (*translation: “Son of a prostitute!”)

She moved close to the wall and peeked around. It was David and Misty. She couldn’t tell if they were making a late morning snack before they rested for the day or if they were discovering new uses for food as sexual aids. Neema shuddered and decided they were too preoccupied with each other to notice her walking by. But she was quick about it, using Carmen’s own speed to her advantage.

Once past the kitchen, she found herself in front of the door of Shane’s office. She pressed her ear to the door, a just in case measure. Hearing nothing, she quietly knocked.

Still nothing.

She rotated the knob and the door opened with a quiet click.

image

“Hello?” she whispered, peeking around the edge. The office was silent. She went inside, closing the door behind her. It was a very large and spacious office, all oak and mahogany woods. There was a thing on the desk that she’d never even seen before. It looked like some kind of slim box with a black covering (computer monitor) attached by some kind of rope to another flat box with some type of writing on it (keyboard). She gave a small frown at the items, wondering what they were used for.

Ignoring that for the moment, she went behind the desk and sat in the (quite comfortable) chair. She started in the middle drawer, finding all sorts of writing utensils. Going through the drawers on the right side, there was nothing but paperwork in them. The left side drawers revealed more of the same.

Sighing, Neema glanced around the office and saw another, smaller desk (Carmen’s). She moved over to it and began rifling through the drawers. More of the same – paperwork.

“Zayy iz-zift!*” (*translation: “Crap!”)

She stood in the middle of the office and noticed the wall of tomes (books). She moved to them and began looking through them for additional clues. She had no idea that the painting she was standing near to had secrets of its own.

Carmen remained silent, locking down her thoughts about the safe hidden behind the painting. She was enjoying Neema’s frustrated efforts to find what she was looking for, not even knowing about modern conveniences such as hidden safes. It was amusing. Leaving Neema to her search, Carmen sunk deeper into her own mind. She was coming close to re accessing her Fae powers. She just needed a few more days to gather the strength needed to launch an all-out assault.

Neema would not know what hit her when the time came. Her thoughts turned to her husband. She could only hope he was beginning to realize that something was seriously wrong with his wife.

Amelia’s Pool house.

CharlotteCarrendar.

Amelia watched Shane hurry outside and then rush across to the main house at speed.  Wrapping her arms around herself, Amelia approached the glass sliding door and stared up at the moon.  She knew that time was against them all.  Within the hour, Shane and the other vampire were going to have to retreat into the safety of the main house with all the shutters closed.  If his suspicions were correct, his investigation would have to wait.  Amelia on the otherhand had a job to go to.  She decided that she would call on Charmaine and her other witch friends over the course of the day.  Sighing, Amelia went off to bed to try and get a little sleep in before she had to go to work.  Being up all night every night with her vampire friends was running her ragged – burning the candle at both ends.  Amelia’s mind was heavy with worry however.  There was a real danger inside that house.  She was sure of it.

Inside the main house, Shane knew he was on borrowed time.  Many of his vampire family were heading to their rooms now, as the shutters were going to be activated and that the morning sun would soon be coming up over the horizon.  With only forty minutes left till the sun came up, he knew he would not be able to have enough time to interrogate Carmen’s newest captive, the girl from the museum.  The mystery of the box, and the strange behaviors of Carmen in her current state would need to be addressed in the waking hours of the following night.

David and Misty were coming out of the kitchen area, arm in arm about to head to their joint room.  The couple had gotten very close since David had moved back into his brother’s mansion.  He gave Shane a sly wink as he pulled Misty close to him.  David noted that Shane looked perplexed.  “Why aren’t you with that woman of yours, Bro?”  It was an obvious question, since he knew that they were normally inseparable.  Shane raked his fingers through his hair and tried to find an excuse.  “She needed to rest….so I went out to see Amelia.”  It was a half truth, since Shane didn’t want to spread his concerns about his wife just yet.  He needed more time to uncover the mystery.  Misty tilted her head and then blew a kiss at Shane as she and David started to descend the stairs to their daylight quarters.  “Night night Shane.”   Her fingers wiggling, as David swept her up off her feet and carried her down the rest of the way.  With the couple gone, it was just Shane on his own.  He contemplated going into the den and just checking the safe, but then Tala, the wolf padded up towards him and whined softly – nudging his hand with the top of his head.  Shane gave the wolf a soft pat and then wondered if the wolf was hungry.  “Come on, I’ll get you a snack before bed.”  Shane led Tala into the kitchen, which took him away from the door to the den.  Little did he know that Neema was searching his den for the very thing he was about to check on.

Inside the kitchen, Shane brought out a juicy red steak for Tala and tossed it onto the wolf’s feeding dish on the floor.  Tala didn’t wait, practically pouncing on it and then taking off to her spot in the house to enjoy the meat in piece.  Shane licked his fingers of the blood, then headed upstairs to his own room.  Normally he would sleep with Carmen….but something just didn’t feel right.  He simply didn’t trust her.

Shane’s Office

image

Neema heard the voices in the hall and froze where she was. Tiptoeing to the door, she pressed her ear to the wood to listen.

“Why aren’t you with that woman of yours, Bro?” came the voice of a male. Neema didn’t recall his name.

“She needed to rest….so I went out to see Amelia.” she heard Shane state. Ah, Amelia, is it? she thought to herself. Must be his bit on the side. Good. Now I won’t have to cater to his needs. she smirked. Carmen bit her tongue upon hearing that. There was no need to bring danger to Amelia.

“Night night Shane.” she heard a female voice state. After a few moments, it was quiet. She was about to take a chance to sneak out when she heard Shane speak again.

“Come on, I’ll get you a snack before bed.” Wondering to whom he was speaking, she quietly opened the door and peeked into the hall in time to see a white furred tail disappear into the kitchen. She clenched her teeth in anger. She knew there was no chance of her sneaking past Shane as he seemed to be aware of every movement within his vicinity. She was thinking of going out of a window when there was the bleep of an alarm and the shades of the house began to go down. She whirled around in shock as she watched the metallic room darkening shields descend over all the windows in the office. There went her chance to leave that way.

A noise in the hall caught her attention and she peeked out once again to see Shane headed upstairs. She waited a full 10 minutes before she left the office, closing the door behind her. The house was silent as a tomb. She moved to the front door, thinking to leave that way, but in addition to the shields over the windows, there was also one over the doors. She wanted to scream with frustration. She needed to get out of this house.

She moved around the downstairs area, searching all the doors and windows but there was no exit to be found. Moving back into the kitchen, there was a door she hadn’t noticed before and it wasn’t shielded like the others. She opened it and found herself in the open air garage. The morning sun was slowly coming up over the horizon and she could clearly see all the different cars under the canopy. She may have been new to this era, but she had Carmen’s memories to draw upon and knew how to maneuver in one these “horseless carriages”. With a grin, she slid into the blood red Corvette and started the engine, listening to the smooth rumble beneath the hood.

image

Putting the car in gear, she pulled out of the garage, down the drive and out the gate, unaware that her exit from the property may have been noticed and heard.

Across the street, Vlad’s driver had been watching the house through binoculars and had seen “Carmen’s” exit. It had shocked him somewhat since he knew from his Master that the woman was a vampire. How was she able to be out during daylight hours? He made some notes on a pad he kept on the dash and put the car in gear to follow. One thing was for certain…his Master would definitely be interested in this news…

Amelia’s Pool House.

CharlotteCarrendar.

It was just after 8 am and the sound of Charmaine’s VW beetle could be heard pulling into the driveway of Shane’s estate.  The main house was now locked up tighter than Fort Knox with the vampires within all sleeping peacefully.  Out round the back was the pool house, that Shane and Carmen had specially fitted out for Shane’s best friend, Amelia.  Bringing her bug to a stop, the crazy haired Charmaine got out of her car and slammed the door, before skipping round the back of the property till she came up to the tiled path that led to the pool house.  All the shades had been pulled down, as Amelia was trying to get as much sleep as she could before going to work.  Charmaine tapped on the glass door, then not hearing an answer, she slid the door open and padded inside.  Little did Charmaine know that Amelia had been up half the night with Shane, after the weird vibes that Carmen had given off.

Charmaine was used to making herself at home in the pool house, and immediately put on the TV, as she went into the kitchen to start making Amelia some breakfast.  First she filled the jug with water to boil for tea, before starting to go through the pantry and refrigerator eggs and bacon.  The sounds of the television woke Amelia, who came out bleary eyed to find the ditzy blonde witch already working in the kitchen.

“What time is it?”  Amelia asked with a yawn, scratching her head as she blinked at the TV.  Charmaine happily chuckled; “Just after 8.  I figured you had another all nighter and could use a lift to work after I cook you some breakfast.”

Amelia let out another yawn and then saluted Charmaine, before turning on her heel and going to go have a shower and get ready for the day, while Charmaine continued to cook breakfast.

On the television was a news broadcast about a break in at the museum, and the disappearance of the archaeological student.  Charmaine took in the news that was unfolding, as she was cutting up some parsley, unaware that the very people that did the break in, were Amelia’s hosts; Shane and Carmen.  Trouble was brewing it seemed, and this was just going to add to Amelia’s woes as she came to discover this for herself.

Coming out of the bathroom, and getting dressed Amelia was ready for the day, though she could have used a few more hours sleep.  She opened all the shutters that showed the pool area in all it’s glory, as well as the well fortified house of Shane.  Amelia has the worst possible feeling about Carmen, and little did she know that Neema – Carmen’s alter had done the bolt as the sun had come up.

Walking into the kitchen, she wrapped her arms around Charmaine, who was making Amelia a cup of tea.  She kissed the cheek of her friend as Charmaine was about to hand her the cup.

“Ready for your first day at my store?”  Charmaine asked.  Amelia had given notice at her job at the police station.  She wanted to start a fresh, and be as far away as she could be from her memories of Jason – the detective she had fallen in love with long ago.  Working for Charmaine, was a good chance to meet with other local witches, and also catch the newest books that came into the store from time to time.  “It will be a breath of fresh air, that is all I can say.”  Charmaine was pleased to hear this.  She wanted to see Amelia take on life in a better way.  Embrace her inner self.  With the breakfast plates ready, she served them up on the counter, and both girls started to tuck in.  There would be enough time for talking when they headed out to the car.

Charmaine winked at her best friend.  “You know, some days we get some pretty handsome warlocks coming in.  Who knows, one might cast a spell on you?”

Amelia laughed at the thought of it.  In the back of her mind, she always knew Jarvis was watching her.  Would she ever give him a chance?  Could he control his urges around her?  That remained to be seen.

“Come on…let’s get going.  I am dying to unpack the latest book shipment from Europe.”  Charmaine said, taking up the dirty plates and washing them in the sink, before grabbing her bag and escorting Amelia out the door.

Warehouse District

-she had been so wrong, so wrong to come that close to a man she knew wasn’t human, but it had been years, and she meant years, sense she had encountered another being as such. It was like the rest of the packs, that knew about her dear daddy, didn’t want his bastard in there packs…like she was gonna be some disease that would slowly poison the pack dynamics.

She might have been full of herself if only a little bit, thinking like this was gonna be like any street punk, where she’s to fast, her blows coming at them one after another and they can’t seem to get away from them. She felt the impact on her elbow she jumped forward slightly straightening out her arm, she had half expected the blow to have continued and the man snap her arm, it wouldn’t have been uncommon in the area. His large hands circled her wrist in a tight vice, she could easily strike him with her other fist, but he had already proven he was fast enough to avoid the blow. However she could go with it still, and allow him to grab her other wrist…but that would leave his neither open for a well aimed kick to the crotch.

But she was trying to make a point that she wasn’t that stupid wasn’t she…maybe this should be a moment where she picks her battles, and this one, she wasn’t picking. Noticing how close he was she tilted her head downward just a little bit and peaked up at him through the locks of hair that fell in her face, going for the doe eyed look.

“You steal these too?  Don’t look like you could afford such pretty things.  Unless you got a sugar daddy. “ he asked her, she cracked a smile, “not every pick do you find a wallet, they some pretty engagement rings huh,” she responded softly.

Why hadn’t she pawned them, well, cause with how things are now-a-days she was suspicious enough to believe they can trace the stolen good right back to her, so why part with the pretty things…especially when they do as good a job as brass knuckles.

He quietly had the gull to sniff her again, much to her irritation but she tried to keep her cool,  “Now, I am going to let you go…but you gotta cool your jets, or we are going to get down and dirty.  I may not like to smack a girl, but I will lay you on your ass.“ he said.

That was fine by her because once he did, she was gonna turn tail and bolt, dog in toe, and hope she can out run him…if not out fight him.-

“Not every pick do you find a wallet, they some pretty engagement rings huh,”

Her voice was a lot softer which surprised Skull somewhat.  Maybe she could see that she had met her match in this young turk.  He didn’t really want to hurt the girl, just put a stop to the punch, but he used the intervention as a way to taunt her just the same.  There was something in her actions that showed she was no ordinary street rat.  Her speed, was not human, then again neither was his.  He mouthed the numbers…3…2…1, and then released his hold on her wrist to see what she would do next.  A good kick in the balls maybe?  He was ready for that as it was a good trick that girls liked to do to unsuspecting males.  But, she didn’t.  Instead, she turned fast on the ball of her heel and went for the bolt.  To run back down the alley with her rope teethered dog in tow.  Poor mutt.  Skull would never want to be lead around like that.  Skull shook his hand with a light flick of the wrist, then stuffed his hands in his pockets and slowly walked along the same path that she had ran down.

Was he stalking the girl?  To be honest, he’d gotten a good whiff of her scent, and would be able to find her no matter where she ran too.  The girl amused him in more ways than one.  He also had to wonder….was she what he thought she was?

Could it be possible, that they were both weres on the loose in the warehouse district of Haven?  Skull was a loner, always had been.  Maybe it was time to get with a pack.  Maybe, she was the way into one.

-Shade ran and her terrier though a small dog as he was, was a little champion that kept pace with his mistress at her human run, but seeing as human speed was proving useless she swooped down scooping up Hercules into her arms and pushed her body just a little further.

Faster then normal humans she zoomed past many street bums leaving them dazed looks and some even taking second glances at there drinks before pouring out the contents all over the side walk. Shade quickly came upon her ‘den’ which was a condemned building that was starting to fall a part. It was a old hotel that really any normal person shouldn’t be staying in, but she wasn’t normal wasn’t she.

She darted around the back, dashing into the shadows before anyone noticed her and found the boarded up window, her own form of locking the door. She ripped out the board nails and all and slide inside, replacing the board on the other side and picking up her handy little hammer and putting the blank back into place. She finally set Hercules down and untied the rope from around his neck. The dog sniffed the ground and ran off somewhere to do what what ever a dog does when it’s let to it’s own devices.

As for shade she stripped off the jacket and made her way to the decrypted staircase and ascended to the second floor, dropping articles of clothing along the way till she was left only in her underwear and panties. Seeing as everyone in the area knew this was her space, she had nothing to fear. Even anyone was stupid enough to come in here, they don’t ever leave again. A werewolf has to eat sometime right.

She found the one room where a bed had managed to not be carried off, this was wear she kept most of her things. She through back the thin blankets and threw herself onto the bare mattress and curled into a ball closing her eyes she tucked her arms under her head and curled her legs into her chest. She let her mind wander, thinking about the times when she had a warm meal waiting for her on the table, before the wolves showed up, before her father bet his pack rights on gambling with the big bad vamps.

Long ago, there wasn’t warehouses and decrepid buildings in Saint’s row.  There was a time that the streets were full of colour and life.  Buildings that were filled with people from all walks of life.  A bustling part of the city, and there was one hotel that many people frequented.  A grand building built by an Italian craftsman who had used this as a way to bring a little bit of Italy into the Downtown part of Haven.  The Regal Hotel, which truly lived up to its name, had the most grand foyer, with a winding staircase and at the centre of the foyer a beautiful marble fountain.  With a full restuarant, piano bar and of course spa for the more discerning guests, it was THE place to stay.  But that was so long ago, and now the building was but a shell – a shadow of its glorious past.  The paint work had long since faded and the stone work was chipped and dented.  Windows all boarded up to stop further vandalisation and squatters, though it was not uncommon for the roof to house up to a hundred pigeons at a time.  Graffetti and crude slogans were painted on what was once gleaming white walls of the outer entrance.  Car bodies now lined the street before it, when in years past, a procession of the most expensive cars you could imagine would drive on up to the valet to be parked, as the elite had come to stay at the Regal.

It was where Shade had made a home, and this was where Skull followed the girl too.  He kept well back of course, since it was a hell of a lot easier to keep track of her movements, also incase any others were following her.  He had a bit of a shine for the girl.  Why?  Cause she was not afraid to stand up for herself.  She was a street kid….like him.  Whereas Shade had been unlucky in her pick pocketing, Skull had more luck, and had about fifty dollars on him.  More than enough to buy a good meal.  Checking over the road, there was an old chinese restaurant that still did business, surprisingly.  Skull ran across the street, and went inside, placing an order of beef and noodles, fried rice, wantons and some chicken with cashew nuts.   A hearty meal for a starving girl and her dog.  Gathering up the boxes, he paid the owner, and then headed out to the back of the hotel, where he had watched the girl enter.  Setting down the meal, which was in boxes, he prized upon the boards that had been haphazardly hammered back up.  Slipping in and taking the meals, he replaced the boards.  The sounds of pigeons flapping about was the only sound, aside from the sound of the little dog barking.

Going up the old stair case, Skull chuckled to himself.  He remembered the early days when he used this same place as a squat.  No doubt this girl was fairly new to the area.

Soon he came across the girl’s room, which was fairly easy since she left a trail of clothing to mark the way.  Skull started to wonder if she was nude by what he was finding.  Entering her room, the smell of the chinese was bound to rouse her, if she was truly asleep.

“I brought a peace offering, since we got off on the wrong foot.”  Skull said, setting down the boxes of chinese on a rickety table near where she slept.

Abandoned Hotel: Warehouse District

-she could hear Hercules barking somewhere in the abandoned hotel, probably at some flock of birds roosting. She didn’t mind, the dog had the run of the place for the most part, and he had to do something fun to pass the time instead of stay tied up to her wrist all the time when ever they would go out. Lucky for her the city couldn’t care less if she was actually feeding Hercules, so long as he wasn’t running wild around the city.

She heard the stairs creek from her chosen room, for a moment she assumed it was Hercules come to find her and cuddle with his mistress. But the sound suggested something with a heavier step then the terrier mutt. Rousing slightly Shade scooted to the other side of the bed and dropped her hand to the ground and felt around till she felt the cool handle of a blade. To think she kept a machete was silly, but in this run down slum, you keep with you what you got.

She had stripped all the way up the stairs, the intruder had a perfect trail to her bedroom. She was ok with that, she rather they track her down instantly, then be hiding somewhere in the building ready to jump her around the corner. Granted she would sniff them out before they got to jumping, but she still hated the very thought of a surprise waiting for her, bullets still hurt.

The first thing she noticed was the distinct smell of the very man she had encountered earlier but it was followed by another smell that had her turning over instantly with surprise.

“I brought a peace offering, since we got off on the wrong foot.“ he said as he was setting down Chinese food on a old table. He might as well have been offering her the holy grail to her in offering.

“Oh my fucking god, your a Saint!” she practically shrieked and leaped across the room abandoning the machete on the bed and making a starved dive for the table of food.

However she stopped inches from the table and backed away…a strange look crossed her face and hard eyes flicked towards his direction as she gave his person a mistrusting look over, “what’s the catch,” she bite out.

The girl was out of the bed like a rocket.  A sudden clunk sound followed, and Skull realized that the girl dropped her weapon.  Yes, she was going to use a weapon on this….her stomach’s savior.  Course, before she dived right in head first like a pig at slop time, she hesitated.  The girl wasn’t stupid, far from it.  Nothing in this world is free they say, but when you are down on your luck, it is surprising what someone with nothing has to give.  Skull knew the girl was hungry.  Why else would she be pick pocketing and then going straight to bed without getting a feed.  It was nothing to be ashamed of.  Skull had been there.  He lived the mean streets, but there was a saying.  Honor amongest theives.  Seeing her hold up and quiz him with a raised brow, Skull simply shrugged and took a box with some chop sticks for himself.  This left her the bulk of the meal for her and her dog.

“Not every gift comes with a string attatched.  But, if you wait, its going to get cold fast.”

Skull sat down on the floor, as there was little to no furniture aside from the bed and the rickety table.  He opened up the box and then raised it to his nose, breathing in the delicious scent.  “No one does Chinese food like Tan.  I swear it.”  It was then he skillfully started to use the chopsticks, slurping in the saucy noodles, as he checked out Shade with one eye.

“I feel a tad overdressed here.  Fancy putting on some clothes?”  With a chuckle, he continued to eat.  He wasn’t going to force the girl to eat, but he wasn’t going to wait around either.  Good food was best enjoyed hot.  He looked around for the dog that had been on the rope lead and whistled.  “Rin tin tin…you’re missing out, buddy.”

If it was one thing about Skull, he had a good heart.  Only thing was it was buried deep.

Welcome to Manoir de Sang (roughly translates to “Mansion of Blood”), home of Vampire District Attorney Shane Williamson and his mate, Carmen, who runs the local branch of Internal Affairs for the state. The estate is massive, with an attached multi-car garage that houses Shane’s extensive and expensive car collection, large in-ground pool and a poolhouse that was converted into a set of apartments for Shane’s best friend and local witch, Amelia Reed. One would think that there was nothing odd about the house and grounds. But if one were to investigate, they would discover that beneath the home are massive caverns housing Shane’s vampire coven. Shane and Carmen protect all who seek sanctuary within their walls, Shane having done this for over a millenia before Carmen came into his life and shared his burden. Woe be the one who tries to harm this unusual family.

Last time…

Shane and Carmen’s estate – Kitchen/ family room

Little did the Egyptian Queen holding control of Carmen’s body understand just how close Carmen was to all the people that inhabited the Williamson Estate. It was like a real family, and acted like one in the modern era. Shane of course was the head, but Carmen was the Queen so she usually had the final word when it came to how the house was run, as well as those that served under them.

Bianca was dishing up a meal in the dog bowl for Tala, when the back sliding door opened from the pool and Amelia wandered in. Now the Witch was just as much a part of the family, as the vampires were and given special privileges since she was residing in the pool house. She had missed a lot of the excitement of late, but she had spotted Carmen return home with Shane and thought she would come over to welcome her back.

image

Amelia approached Carmen for one of her usual hugs, which she did a lot. Amelia was just the kind of girl who shared affection easily. What happened next would leave Amelia reeling. As Amelia went to put her arms around Carmen, she suddenly got a flash of another woman, a top a throne all dressed in Egyptian finery. She was seated beside a man, who for the life of Amelia seemed so familiar it was scary. But it wasn’t Shane. The woman was laughing as a woman was being tied to a stake in the middle of a chamber. The chamber had a special dome like roof, and when the Queen raised the blood chalice, the dome roof top started to inch back, causing a small ray of sunlight to beat down on the woman tied to the post. It was cooking the girl alive. Was she another vampire? The man on the throne next to her was laughing and then taking up the Queen/Carmen’s hand and kissing it. They were both enjoying watching the woman turn to ash. Amelia instantly drew back and stared at Carmen with a horrified face. She looked at Jarvis, who had just come down the stairs and saw Amelia standing there, stunned.

image

“Amelia…what is it?”

Amelia cringed and then fled the house, running across to the pool house and slamming the door. No vampires could enter the pool house, except Shane…or Bianca.

Shane re entered the room only to see Amelia running out. He glanced at Mary, who was looking at Carmen oddly too, then he looked at Carmen.

“Is everything alright?” Clearly…it was far from that.

Shane and Carmen’s Bedroom
Neema took a deep breath before she turned to open the door. Shane’s facial expression was one of worry and concern. Seeing this, Carmen’s subconcious was suffused with love.

-Take that, bitch!- she thought savagely.

Neema growled at her before she prepared to put on the performance of a lifetime.

“I’m fine. Drinking that blood must have affected me a bit. I’m feeling a bit off. I’ll be right as rain by tomorrow.” She gave him a smile full of love while inside, she wanted to throw up.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body tight to his.

“We still have some time before daybreak.” she purred, scraping her nails along the sensitive skin of his neck. She slipped her mouth over his, lips caressing in a seductive dance.

It was enough to make her physically ill…but it had to be done.

It was not normal for Shane to actually pull back from his love, especially when she was giving him a sizzling hot kiss.  Shane was often very much intune with his beloved, but there was something off in the way she was acting.  Blood did not normally affect her moods, and when she had fed on the archeologist, she seemed perfectly fine afterwards.  It was only the reactions that everyone else was having that had him concerned.  Shane let out something of a concerned growling noise, and then instead he raised his hand to her left cheek cupping it.  His sea coloured blue eyes locked on hers as though he was trying to speak to her mind.  The problem was he was not getting a response.  ~Can you hear me?~ He said to her mind.  Still nothing.  Taking her at her word, saying how she would be fine in the next eve, he did something out of character.

“Since the blood has made you ill, I suggest you get some rest.  Feel free to call up the twins if you wish….for that sort of affection.”

The blonde Vampire then drew his hand back, and headed to the door.  He gave her one last look, before leaving her to her own devices.  Shane was not stupid.  He had a suspicion that something wasn’t right, and would go back down stairs to talk to Mary, possibly Amelia since she had fled after touching Carmen.  With the door closed behind him, Carmen or Neema could rest.  But would she?

Inside Neema’s mind, Carmen was laughing her head off at Shane’s rebuff.

=What’s so damn funny?= Neema snarled at the woman.

-Shane knows on some level that you’re not me and I think that’s the funniest, fucking thing in the world!-

=I should kill you now and be done with you.=

-You can try, Little Bitch. You can certainly try, but if you do that, well…Shane will know…and there would be nowhere you can hide from his wrath.-

Neema raged because she knew Carmen was right. She could easily detected the bond between Carmen and her mate and that there was no way to break it without Shane knowing about it. She paced back and forth in the room, wondering what to do next. She couldn’t search the house with everyone still awake. Sunlight was less then 2 hours away. She would have to do her searching then.

There was a knock on the closed door and wondering who it could be, Neema moved closer.

“Who is it?” she demanded.

“It’s Ethan and Evan, Mistress. We are but your humble servants. We sensed your disquiet and were concerned.” came a male voice through the door. Neema yanked open the door and saw the twins standing there.

image

She frowned. “Why are you here?”

“We sensed your upset.” the one on the right said.

=Who are these fools?= she demanded, staring at the two of them.

-That’s for me to know and you to never find out.- Carmen snickered.

It took everything in her to not start going on a tear. Neema took a deep breath as she stared at the two men before her.

“I am fine. Just tired. Thank you for your concern.”

“Is there anything we can help you with?” the one on the left asked.

“No. I just need sleep. Thank you.” And with that, she closed the door in their faces. Evan looked at his brother, a frown marring his features. Ethan shook his head and directed his brother away from the closed door.

“Who was that?” Ethan wondered.

“I do not know, but that is not our Mistress. Something happened when they went to the museum.” Evan replied.

“We need to tell the Master.”

“Let’s go.” The two men went in search of their coven Master, worried about the state of affairs in the house.

Mary was in the lounge when the twins appeared.

“Have you seen the Master?” Ethan asked.

“Yes, he just went out to the poolhouse to speak to Amelia. Why?”

“There is something wrong with our Mistress. She is not her.” Evan stated. Mary jumped to her feet, startling them both.

“I KNEW IT!” she crowed. She grabbed them both by the arms and yanked them onto the couch. “Tell me everything.” She demanded…

Amelia’s Pool House.

image

Lighting a few candles in her lounge area, Amelia was getting ready to do some meditation to ease her troubled mind after the horrors she saw when she touched Carmen.  Something was not right in that house.  She even glanced over her shoulder to stare at the large manor, only to see a shadow that lurked outside her door.  The pool house was off limits but to only a handful of those that resided within Shane and Carmen’s house.  And that was pretty much Shane and Carmen.  Jarvis was simply not allowed, after he had shown time and again he could not seem to restrain himself around Amelia.  The poor fool could only love her from afar, until such times he could control his urges – his desire to make her like him.

Shane stood outside Amelia’s door, clearly troubled by what he had just experienced.  A coldness to his love that was never there before.  His inner voice trying to find hers and getting nothing but silence.  Something had happened at the Museum.  He was sure of it now.  In a way, he felt the only person that could possibly understand was Amelia.  Her reaction to flee the house now put weight to his concerns.  Shane tapped lightly on the door, only for it to open all by itself.  Charmed by the witch that dwelled within.

“You sensed it too?”  That was Amelia’s question as she turned away from her arrangement of candles and blew out the large striker match.

Shane entered, his hands behind his back and the door closed in behind him.  With a grim expression he nodded.  “I know my wife.  That…creature in our bedroom right now, is not her.”

Amelia set down the dead match, and crossed the floor to where Shane was standing.  She stared up at him with inquisitive eyes.  “What exactly did you do tonight, before you both came home?”  Amelia was sure that whatever they did, had something to do with this change in Carmen.  Shane took a seat on Amelia’s black leather couch and she followed over to sit beside him.  He leaned back, as he started to recant the night’s events.

“We went to the museum.  More or less for answers to the riddle of the box that we found at Vincent’s burnt out manor.  It was covered in Egyptian hieroglyphics….”    Amelia sat bolt upright on hearing what he said.  “Shane!  When I went to hug Carmen, I had a vision.  It was not of this time, it was not even in this country.  It was…in Egypt.”  Now, Shane’s brows furrowed.  “What did you see?”  He turned his body to face Amelia’s.  Her hindsight and visions were proving to be astonishing, to say the least.  Amelia took Shane’s hands in hers and then she opened up her mind, so that Shane himself could see exactly what Amelia had.   An Eygptian Goddess.  A woman of great beauty upon a throne of Gold and jewels.  She looked exactly like Carmen.  Amelia’s body trembled and her pupils moved rapidly under her closed lids.  The further that Shane pressed on to see the vision, the more it hurt the girl.  A sacrifice of….a vampire to the Sun.

Shane suddenly let go of Amelia’s hands as the vision disappeared.  The woman in the vision….could that be who had taken over Carmen’s mind….her body?

Suddenly Shane jumped to his feet.

“The box!”  He yelled out.  The creature in Carmen must be after the box.  The one that he found in Vincent’s safe.  “I need to wake up that blood doll we brought back from the museum.  That box….there is something inside that box….that everyone wants.”  Amelia had no idea about the box, but its mystery was to become the centre point to why Carmen changed.  Amelia reached for Shane’s hand.  “What about Carmen?”  She was sure that Carmen was possessed by whoever previously owned the box.  Shane rushed for the door.  He called out over his shoulder.  “I want you to figure out a way, to free her from that bitch in her head!”

As Shane left the pool house, Amelia went to call Charmaine.  She was going to need the help of her sister witches for this.

BIANCHI INVESTIGATIONS.

image

Previous history of Doctor Johnathon Bianchi :

Johnathon Bianci is a descendent of the Casterly line of Angels, from so long ago, and he holds a small place in his heart for the one that captured a demon’s heart, Selene. Even though he has only read about his ancestor in books, and scrolls, the tale fascinates him to this day. As the Victorian era is a wonderful time for literature and the rise of the industrial age, he marvels as the changes that are taking place in his world, So much to learn and as they say, knowledge is power.

Having relocated his family to the United States during the 1920’s, the famous Doctor carried out his forensics and supernatural investigations but sadly without the help of his most trusted associate Reginald Blaine, who had died of old age in the 1960’s.  Reginald had married Vivenne Westlake, the nosy reporter and had three children to their credit.  Over the years, Johnathon lost contact with the descendants of the Blaines as he continued to move his offices around the country.  Now having settled in New Haven, he has managed to slip into obscurity as many of those that knew him form the old days had long since passed…or so he thought.  Little did he know that the Marulos and the Roxburgs were right around the corner.

Stonewall Cottage and Gardens – Bianchi Investigations.
Stonewall Cottage and Gardens.

In the setting of beautiful Victorian styled gardens sat Stonewall Cottage.  A crackle gravel drive went around large oaks and willows to a double story garage, that was fashioned from hand cut stone blocks.  It is in this setting that we find the newly relocated office of one Doctor Johnathon Bianchi.  Having lived in various modern apartments in New York, he had moved his family and staff out to the more quaint area of New Hampshire which truly suited the Doctor’s tastes.  It had been a few weeks since the Doctor had relocated.  His son and daughter – Levi and Genie were yet to join him and his staff as they were tying up loose ends in the city with their jobs and apartments.  This was a new beginning for the entire Bianchi clan.  Having moved so much since the 1920s, the Doctor felt this was a good move for them all, and there was no doubt in his mind that there was always new investigations waiting for him, no matter what part of the country he lived in.

It was now ten o’clock, and the old grandfather clock in the hall was chiming merrily, as Miss Nellie was working on still unpacking some of the family heirlooms from old tea chests that had come from the mother country.  Some of the boxes had not been unpacked since arriving in the US all those years ago, mainly because the artefacts simply didn’t suit the decor of the houses that the Doctor lived in.  This cottage suited the Doctor and his collection to a T.  Unwrapping a gilded picture frame of the Bianchi family back in the heyday of the late 1800’s, she wistfully stared at the image of the family dressed in smart clothing, with the late Mrs Bianchi looking so happy.  Such a shame what had become of her.  The Doctor never remarried after she left, and then was found dead in suspicious circumstances.  Just another mystery; that the Doctor spent many years trying to solve.

In the kitchen, Cookie was tapping her foot to the latest tune by Katy Perry as she set about preparing a lovely morning tea for the good Doctor.  His favourite was buttermilk scones with homemade strawberry jam.  The kitchen had all the modern day appliances one would expect from such a house, and Cookie had taken to them with relish.  They made cooking all the better and a lot less work for the family Cook, who had been in the service of the Doctor since he was in his twenties.  Placing the silver tea pot on the tray, she arranged the scones on a fine porcelain plate, ready to take into the Doctor’s office.

Out on the road that ran past the Cottage, a lone figure stood.  Wearing jeans and a plaid shirt with leather jacket, he had a backpack on his back and was checking the address from his cell phone.  Glancing up at the plaque that said “Bianchi Investigations”, the young man thought to himself.  “Well, this is it.”  He walked on through the gates and headed down the gravel drive to the Cottage where he was hoping that all his questions could be answered.

image

avatarLethalSin

The sounds of a car rolling down the gravel drive slowly became more present and pressing as a 1970 Dodge charger black in color began to pull down the drive way. The driver would slow before pulling up along side the male walking down the gravel drive as the tinted window rolled down to reveal a women’s face. “Hop in…” That was all that she said before she put the charger in park to wait for the male to either get in or continue walking. The women driving the car seemed to be about twenty five years in age if not a little bit younger. She wore a simple black blouse and tight form fitting yoga pants making it seem as if she had just come from a gym or something of that sort. Her name was Genie Bianchi the daughter of Johnathon Bianchi. She had just come from New York and was eager to see her father. Genie was a martial artist at heart and had been partaking in many competitions for such a thing. The thing was she seemed sweet and kind but she had a fighter’s heart and was wiling to fight for those she cared for. As she waited she would turn the radio on and allow her music to play which happened to be her favorite song. What was her favorite song might you ask? It happened to be a song by Linkin Park that was named One Step closer. As the music played she would bob her head along to the beat while drumming her fingers over the leather steering wheel.

Reginald turned his head slightly as he heard the unmistakable roar of the dodge as it entered the grounds.  A girl with a shock of black hair offered him a ride inside, but Reginald pointed to the main house, and said politely; “I can see the main house just there.  Thanks anyways.”  As the girl drove off to park her car, Reginald continued to walk, stuffing his cellphone into his jacket pocket.  Inside his mind, he could hardly believe he was doing this.  Having travelled all the way from Chicago based on the writings in a journal he discovered in his great grandfather’s possessions in an old attic, Reginald was following a dream.  Would the people within this house know of his ancestor?  The great Detective of Scotland yard.  The writings in the journal were like reading a novel, a personal account of his life, and that of his wife, Vivienne Westlake.  What struck him most however, was the Detective’s friendship with the Doctor.  Doctor Johnathon Bianchi.  So much of what was written was almost hard to believe and he was sure that most of the writings never were published, as they were fanciful at best.  Supernatural creatures haunting the streets of London town?  He had the tattered journal safe within his backpack.  Reginald had brought it this far, and he hoped that the ancestors of Doctor Bianchi could shed some light on the mysteries within its pages.

On reaching the front door, he turned his head slightly to see the young girl park her car.  Dressed casually, she was a pretty thing, he had to admit.  Reginald had an eye for beautiful women, and this girl was intriguing.  Standing on the front porch, Reginald raised his fist and knocked twice, before stepping back and waiting for the door to be answered.

When the door opened however, Reginald was taken aback by the sight of the maid.  She looked like she had stepped out of the show; Upstairs Downstairs, and was holding an old feather duster in her hand.  When she saw him however, the feather duster slipped from her fingers and she clutched her chest.  “Saints be alive….”  To Miss Nellie it was like seeing a ghost, only…he was very real.  Her jaw moved almost of its own accord, as she struggled to find composure.  The man looked exactly like the late Reginald Blaine.  It had been years since his passing, and yet, here stood his likeness.  Reginald was stunned by the young woman’s reaction and took a step forward.  “Are you alright, Miss?”  Spoken with a distinct american accent, unlike that of his ancestor.  Fanning herself, the maid, then nodded rapidly, and asked.  “Can…can I help you?”  It was an obvious question of course.  Reginald then replied.  “I’m actually looking for…well, a relation of the famous Doctor Bianchi?  I have this journal…”  But before he could finish, a deep voice called out from his office.

“Send him in, Nellie.”

Johnathon knew this day would come.  He had waited many years.

Genie would shrug before driving off to park her 1970 dodge charger off to the side and out of the way. Slowly she would step out of the car before walking to the door and stopping beside the male. As she waited for the door to be answered she would cast a wary glance at him as if he seemed familiar but she shrugged it off. It was then the door opened to Nellie the maid before Genie slipped passed her and called out. “Father….I’m home..” It was clear Genie had much to tell her father from the way her voice rang out joyous and bubbly. Then with a frown she would stand in the hall before hearing her father call out from his office. Silently she trotted down the halls following his voice before stopping outside the door and knocking politely. “Father? May I come in?”

It seemed that there was not just one at the door, but two.  Genie could be heard singing out for her father, after walking past Reginald – who was still waiting to be shown through.  Miss Nellie bobbed a small curtsey as she was still very much set in her ways of time past.  Reginald had already sort of met the girl in the driveway, and it was clear she was related to the Doctor.  Holding onto his back pack strap, Reginald heard the deep toned voice call for him to be shown in.  Miss Nellie stepped back and gestured with her hand for Reginald to enter.

“Thank you so much.”  Reginald offered as he went to walk past the maid.  Miss Nellie asked of him; “Shall I take your bag, Sir?”  As it was normal for her to take a guest’s hat, bag and coat.  Reginald was not used to this kind of attention and said that he would rather hang on to it.  Giving a light nod of her head, Miss Nellie showed Reginald through to the office door, which had the Doctor’s name written on a small plaque on the door.  She reached for the door handle and then opened it, for both Genie and Reginald.

Sitting inside at an old wooden desk, that was covered in papers, photographs and odd old cups of tea, was none other than the Doctor.  Johnathon Bianchi.  The same Doctor who had treated women for hysteria back in the late 1800’s, the same Doctor who had mounted and solved many investigations in the dark back alleys and haunted houses of London and the surrounding shires and towns.  The office walls were laden with Doctrates, framed photographs that dated back to the early 1800’s and newspaper clippings of some of the more shocking cases that were ever to be printed.  Cookie came in through the side door that was attatched to the Office from the southern end of the house.  She spotted Reginald and immediately her jaw fell open.  This was going to be awkward.  Johnathon could see Cookie’s distress, and cleared a space on his desk for her to put down the tray.

“More cups for tea, Cookie.  We have guests.”  The Doctor offered, as he then shot a look at Genie and winked.  “How was the city, Genie?”  He could see by how she was dressed that she had only just come back.  Cookie fussed and placed down the tray, before taking up all the dirty cups that the Doctor had scattered all over his office.  Every time she looked at Reginald, it was like…she was seeing a Ghost.  Reginald was too busy taking in everything.  From the decor of the room, to that of the Doctor, who was wearing clothes that were well over a century or more old.  Johnathon gestured for Genie and Reginald to take a seat each, while Miss Nellie closed the door to the office.  No doubt she would be eavesdropping.  This was simply something to incredulous to miss.

Reginald sat himself down in one of the antique velvet covered chairs, but not before removing the back pack from his back and setting it down on the floor near his leg.  The journal from his great grandfather was inside.  At first Reginald appeared lost for words.  It was like he had stepped back in time almost, until his eyes looked up to the top of the display case for skulls and other forensic samples only to see a photograph.  His eyes widened as he stared at the photograph for a while.  Johnathon could see where the young man was looking, and knew this was when the penny was about to drop.

“Allow me to introduce myself.  I am Doctor Johnathon Bianchi.  And yes….that man in the photograph…..is your great grandfather.  Detective Reginald Blaine.  Scotland Yard.”

image

Reginald was shocked, to say the least.  This was too incredulous to be true.  “My great grandfather has been dead for over fifty years.  You can’t be the same man he knew.  How is it even possible?”  Reginald asked.  He looked at Genie as if she might know the answers.  Cookie coughed and then left the room.  She too knew the original Detective and always enjoyed the times he visited the Doctor.  They were the best of friends.

The Doctor placed his palms together and drummed his fingers, as he stared the young man, who was a dead ringer for Reg.

“A mystery….to be certain, Reginald.  I take it, you have many other questions for me.  Don’t worry, we have all morning.”

Roleplay Background.

A Fallen Mansion.

Willum, the sole owner of the mansion’s property, has long since passed away. Sona, his younger sister, did watch over the mansion after his death, but one day disappeared with her entire family, consisting of Loren and their daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend.
However, the mansion’s legacy still continues.
The new owner continues what Willum started. People who are robbed of life, dying in the outside world before they are given a chance to fully live, are plucked away from reality and tossed into this side realm. Here, their memories are swiftly erased and never talked about, as they wake knowing their name and highly basic information, and they are offered a chance to live in the safety of the mansion.
Occasionally some try to escape. Reaching the gates will only result in confusion, a ward to keep the occupants away. Opening the gates, or attempting to rather, will get a person a shock.
Each person is given a ‘job’, be it house keeping or cooking or even gardening. Males are no longer only butlers, but allowed to do the job they please.

Kitchen

The kitchens can be used by everybody and anybody. They are open to the public and the cupboards will never run out of stock. On the fridge is a single pad of paper. If an ingredient or something along those lines cannot be found, write down what you require, and it will show up in the kitchen.

Though it is quite large, the chefs normally take over half the kitchen for dinner, the only meal they are required to make for the mansion.

Kitchen

Bridgette always made sure that when she chose her time to use the kitchen to create her pastries, she did so just after the first rays of light. Dressing in apparel that were more suited to the kitchens, such as a sweeping long skirt with full apron. A light hair net caught her hair up in a petite bun, and she wore a small white hat on the top of her head, to tuck in any wisps of loose hair. Bridgette’s light footsteps often went unheard as she made her way quickly from her room on one of the upper floors, down to the kitchens. A shy girl by all accounts, she kept very much to herself. She cradled her favorite cook book in her arms tight to her bosom as she entered the kitchen; always making sure that she had beat the other chefs. As they took up so much space to cook when doing the dinner meals, Bridgette came down when people were scarce.

Placing down her treasured tome on one of the gleaming kitchen cupboards, she set about getting all the right ingredients to make some pastries and rolls for those that wished breakfast. Bridgette already knew the kitchen like the back of her hand, and soon had all her utensils, trays, mixing bowls and ingredients lined up before her.

She always made sure her hands were washed before beginning, and also setting the ovens at the right temperature.

The reason Bridgette settled so easily into this role, was it a job that she didn’t have to take orders from another, or even have to be social. Bridgette often hummed a quaint tune as she set about her work, kneading dough and then twisting up the scrolls. The kitchen would have a delicious scent, once she popped her creations into the ovens to cook. While they did cook, she cleaned away her work station, and then would read up on some other recipes that she might try over the coming days.

Her cook book was a tatty one and well loved. Signed by the original author, it had been a wonderful find in the Mansion’s library. Bridgette knew that she would eventually have to return the book, but for now she was still using it to help her create her delicious fare.

Mornings were dull.
Overrated really. If not unnecessary all together.
An ever lasting night was much more desirable. But mornings. They had to be Satan spawn. The brilliant rays of light that ripped through the gorgeous scene painted by the moon and the stars, the first glimpse of sunlight desecrating the serenity that had been put together through the witching hours. The dew that caressed every blade of grass. The crisp, frosty, air. To most it was refreshing, pretty even, but to Zero it was Hell.
Perhaps it was fate that the Carpathian butler stepped into the kitchen that morning, already dressed to wander around the mansion and make sure everybody was alright, a task he disliked quite much. He wore recently pressed slacks and dress shoes, glistening from an afternoon polish just yesterday. Over the simple, gray, button up shirt was a jet black vest and his messy blue hair was untouched as the male hardly cared for attention nor asked for it.
His slender body, standing at the full height of 6’3″, paused, scanning the kitchen once before golden hues found the target. Moving around the counter, he hardly noticed the baker doing her thing, as he reached the fridge and ripped it open, tearing through the contents messily and without care, creating quite the ruckus. Finally gloved hands reached the plastic, shoved far behind the normal ingredients.
Withdrawing and turning, he held the bag of blood in his fingers and slammed the door to the fridge shut, tossing the meal into the microwave just to heat it up, as cold blood wasn’t entirely a delicacy. While he was doing this, he reached upwards, his back to the baker, and dug through cupboards, leaving items scattered around and cluttering the already hectic countertops all the more. Had he common sense he’d see that it might annoy the girl he had only seen out of the corner of his eyes, but at the given point in time, he was hardly concerned with the feelings of others.
Eventually the microwave dinged and the butler placed a wine glass on the granite and poured the steaming blood inside, tossing the empty bag quite close to where the baker was working, not noticing as the trash landed on her open cook book. He turned, placed his rump against the curved edge of the counter, his legs crossing at the ankles, and pulled the shining crystal to his lips, taking the first sip. In the same motion he was staring at the back of the maid, eyes lowered from her perfect little neck to her ass, hidden by the thick skirt, but there never the less, and capturing all his attention.

Re: Kitchen
August 01, 2014 09:38AM
There was a tranquility to the setting within the kitchen in the waking hours that only Bridgette appreciated. It was why she choose to do her baking long before others stirred. A quiet time to cook, and to read in the solitude of the spacious kitchen. To have it all to herself was one of the few blessings of being what felt like a prisoner in this house.

But like all good things, they often come to an abrupt end. Whilst the baker waited patiently for her buns and pastries to cook, and had her treasured cook book open on one of the work benches, a man of slender build and with gaunt features ruined what was to be a pleasant morning. With no care at all, he swanned into the kitchen and set about causing a ruckus, that was so loud that it startled the french maid. Glancing up from a recipe on how to prepare Chausson aux Pommes, the young girl stared at the back of the Carpathian butler, who was rummaging through the refrigerator, like a raccoon digging through a garbage can. When he retrieved a plastic flagon that had a familiar crimson tint, the maid realized that he must surely be one of the Vampires that she had heard all about. Amazing how the walls had ears. Thinking that he must be done, now he had his prized blood pack, she bent her head down to continue to read, only to then hear him digging about through a variety of different cupboards. Bridgette’s hair on the back of her neck practically stood on end. Did he not realize that the room amplified ever single sound that one made? Tutting under her breath and whispering a few choice words, she tried once again to go back to her recipe, only this time the butler did what could be described as not only rude, but shocking to boot.

In a half assed attempt to dispose of the blood pack, he tossed it in the direction of the baker. Whilst it did not strike Bridgette, it did land on the open pages of her treasure cook book. Her porcelain features soon turned to a striking shade of pink, as she slammed both hands down on the kitchen bench at either side of the blood splattered book. By now the Carpathian butler was facing her, and to make matters worse, he was staring at her with eyes that looked to be undressing her. Bridgette’s jaw fell open as her mind raced with all manner of obscenities that when said in french may well turn the blood sucker on.

The oven timer dinged for the pastries were ready, and the girl was so flustered that she spun on her heel and frantically tried to get the trays out of the oven without burning herself. Setting out the trays on the cooling bench, she turned off the oven and spun around to pick up her ruined book. Bridgette scowled as she shook her fist at the Butler, and slamming the book together, which only made it drip on the counter, she stormed out of the kitchen before she said something she regretted.

Re: Kitchen

The glass was half empty by the time Bridgette had twisted around and gave him the coolest look he’d ever received. So harsh and judgmental. His golden hues fluttered downwards to the now red book that the empty plastic had landed on and an amused grin crossed his lips as she shook her fist and ran off like her hair had been set aflame.

Women.

He turned on his heel and looked at the pastries cooling down and reached over, selecting one and sniffing it, holding the glass in his other hand, before taking a nibble, ignoring the blistering heat, and nodded to himself. Well the spitfire little lady was good at baking at least, and not bad to look at.
The Carpathian reached for a second pastry when the most immeasurable pain possible tore through his head, sparking right behind his eyes and charging backwards. The shock, the pressure, of the sudden attack cause the glass to slip from his hands, shattering as it hit the tiled floor, thick blood crawling from the remains. He let out a pain filled cry, nearly sinking to his knees from the searing fire that was currently raging through his head, though his right hand reached out and pressed into the counter, keeping him upwards. Every single nerve in his body felt as if it was being held over a flame all at once. His fingers pressed into the granite, tightening a little bit more with each passing second, eventually breaking through and ripping up a good chunk of the counter, sending him to his ass.
The attack itself lasted all of five seconds but he was left breathless and a cool sweat had taken hold over his entire body, chills rolling down his spine as his eyes pressed tightly closed. The first thing to move after silence had fallen was his right hand which toyed with a bit of rock between his two fingers.
Then he opened his eyes, and promptly let free a hiss.
What had been a world of black, white, and gray, was suddenly filled with color. He’d not seen this in a century, though he had no recollection of color since his memory had been wiped clean, and he squinted. It was painful to even look at the room he was in, let alone the light pouring in from outside.
Outside?
He pushed himself to his feet as fast as he could, using the recently broken counter top to push away from, nearly slipping in the pool of thick blood, but catching himself at the last moment, stumbling like a child just learning how to walk. The Carpathian reached the window sill and his lips parted in awe.

The sky was blue.
Trees were green.
Roses were red.
But the sky…It was blue. It wasn’t just blue. It was beautiful. Clear. It was more than he could comprehend. Was the world meant to be this blindingly ravishing?

“What the Hell did she do to me?” Zero uttered under his breath wondering if this was a spell. She must be a witch. For a year and half he’d believed that the world was free of color. Was he wrong? Was this simply a hallucination?
Eyes tore away from the stunning view and towards the door that the woman had disappeared through.
“Wait!” The word came out in a deep growl as his head was now thundering from the storm that had just passed. He was running after her, using his nose to find her, and his speed to catch up with her. He’d take down the witch that caused him so much pain. Or so was the plan.
The hunt was on.

Just outside the Kitchen

Devastation. That was how Bridgette felt. Her treasured cookery book was ruined and all because of the horrid man that had spoilt what was the only highlight of her day. Holding the blooded book tight to her bodice, the blood droplets were now staining more than just the pages of her cook book, but also her brilliant white apron. Her skirts rustled against the pile of the hall carpet, as she hurried past oil paintings of the owners of this strange house. Eyes appeared to follow her movements as she hurried for the sanctuary of her room. The very idea that she could take the library cook book back now was in ruins. What if they never let her borrow another? Bridgette muttered under her breath as she was about to take the stairs, but then one of the blooded pages tore free from the inner spine and floated to the floor – a large red blotch mark covering what was some pretty lemon tarts.

“Je n’en reviens pas.” (“I can’t believe it.”) Bridgette cried, as she came to a stop and crouched down to pick up the loose and bloody page from the cook book. It was then she heard a male voice coming from the direction of the kitchen.

“Wait!” Was it the same man that had brought her such grief this morning? Bridgette looked up and sure enough, he was racing towards her at a speed that was not human. So very fast, that she was like a startled rabbit.

“Oh là là .” (“Oh dear, oh no.”)

The look on the man’s face was one of fury. Bridgette had no understanding at all. She merely shook her fist at him, yet he was running at her like she murdered someone close. Rising to her feet quickly, she fumbled with the cook book in such a way that it fell from her hands and pages flew in all directions. The book had met it’s end.

Bridgette didn’t know what was worse; seeing the book fall apart or the man running at her as though to seize her. The baker cried out as her hands became animated at the ruined book on the floor.

“Regardez ce que vous avez fait.” (“Look what you have done.”0

Re: Kitchen

It was like something out of a movie.
The book was airborne, juggled between fumbling hands, before it fell down and the pages showered onto the mansion’s floor. It had all happened in slow motion to the Carpathian who was basking in every detail of this new and colorful world, amazed at the detail on the pages, even the little pictures.
Zero had absolutely no idea what the girl was saying, he was too busy debating on what to do. He had paused as the book had fell, standing on the opposite end of the massacre. It was clearly something she cared about and for some reason he wanted to stop her from getting any more upset. Why was he so compelled? He hadn’t the slightest. His original plan was to just grab her and demand answers, but it was no longer what he wanted to do.
“I can’t understand a word you’re saying.” He said slowly, despite living in Spain at times he had always stuck to straight English, knowing a few scattered phrases in Latin. Raising a hand, perhaps to show he wasn’t going to jump her, at least not yet, the male knelt down and collected the papers into a pile and looked down at them. Recipes stared back up at him and he sighed slowly.
“I don’t know what you did to me.” Golden hues rose and narrowed ever so slightly. “Are you a witch? Can you even understand me?” He looked back downwards and thumbed through the pages, changing a couple so that they were in numeric order. This was his fault. There had been blame in her tone. So. Yes. He was feeling guilty, a new emotion, one he hadn’t felt in a century. One he was struggling to understand.
The Carpathian cleared his throat and closed the gap between them, grabbing the baker’s hand, and putting the thick stack of papers in her grip before withdrawing and taking a single step back.
“Cold water. Cold water gets blood out.” He wasn’t even sure he was being understood. “And…If you punch holes in the pages you could make it into a binder, or keep the pages together with yarn or something. I don’t know. Look I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you…Or…Be…An asshole. I just want to know, no, I need to know, why you hurt me? Why you did this to me? Please? Is this temporary?”

Re: Kitchen

Just outside the Kitchen

Bridgette didn’t know whether to cry or shout as the hallways was now littered with the pages of the ruined cook book. She could not help but speak in her native tongue. She rarely spoke to anyone in the mansion, so this was really the first time. Bridgette knew English…barely. Enough it seemed to be able to take in what the crazy eyed man was saying, or trying to say. His whole body language changed from the rampaging Vampire, to that of a man that was clearly confused by the effect the young french maiden had on him.

“I can’t understand a word you’re saying.”

This was said slowly, as he raised a hand to demonstrate he was not about to lunge at her. Taking breathes quickly, the french maiden finally spoke English, since she could see he was not about to attack her.

“The book…a…it iz from….ze library.” She spoke in broken English, as her eyes gazed down at the many hundred of scattered pages. A book so well loved, that it finally came to rest on the hall way floor. Dead. Slowly she sank to her knees and in a vain effort tried to pick up each page, but only to hear the Vampire now say that he didn’t know what she had done to him. ~Done to him? What was he on about?~ the girl thought, every so often staring up at him as though he was mad. He then asked if she was a witch and if she could understand him.

“I amz…human…er…I am ze baker. I do…nothink…to youz.” Again with animated hands, that were clutching the odd blood splattered page. She was getting more and more confused as the Vampire rattled on. Bridgette was trying to get the pages together, but it was clearly a mammoth task. Blood stained nearly every page. This was when the Vampire took a step back and offered his advice, that cold water gets blood out.

Bridgette raised a brow. So he was saying she should wet the pages even more than they were now? That made no sense to her. She shook her head, and continued on as he spoke of perhaps punching holes into the pages, and then making the book into a binder of sorts. What part of the fact it was a library book that he didn’t understand? Bridgette let out a soft sigh as she simply let the pages slip from her hand and float back to the floor.

Again the Vampire was going on about how she had done something to him, how she had hurt him. Begging her to tell him if what ever condition he had was temporary. Bridgette slowly pushed herself to standing and then folded her arms. She was not a mind reader and she certainly had not to her knowledge harmed or hexed the man.

She took two steps towards him, over the sheets of the book and then said simply.

“Perhapz….er….ze blood…you drank…vaz….er…how you zay….tainted?” It was the only logical explanation she could come up with. The french baker shrugged, and then turned on the ball of her foot and dropped the cover of the library book on the floor. He was the butler….he could clean it all up.

Zero listened. Or rather he tried to. He really did.
The girl before him, distraught with the abrupt destruction of the cook book, said she was human, she even offered up that he drank tainted blood, which hadn’t really dawned on the man at all as a viable option until just now. How could this human girl know more about that than he?
Either way it had gone right over his head and he watched her turning around and dropping the cover of the library book on the floor, this gathering a quick twitch of his eye as he glared at the back of her and felt the most familiar emotion of them all bubbling up inside of him, rage.
Before he could stop himself a balled fist jolted upwards and slammed into the wall of the hallway, crushing the wood like paper, the spark of energy that was exerted branched outwards and the window to the right of the crater cracked, the spiderweb like pattern branching out without hesitation, though it did not fall from the frame.
At the same time a deep, feral, growl birthed in his chest and rolled up into his throat, escaping in two words that passed through a tightly locked jaw.
“You’re lying!”
It had been practically shouted. He wasn’t even sure if he was right but for fucks sakes he just wanted a straight answer. Not a guess. Not an assumption. She’d done something. Dark magic perhaps?
“Be gone she wench! And know that your magics will only hold me for so long and there are only so many places to hide in this mansion!” Hm. Unbeknownst to him, he sounded like a rambling fool, his rant even gathering a shooing motion with his hand as he beckoned for her to be on her merry little way.

If she had left, or stormed, he’d be left in the hallway with an overbearing pressure. An emotion called regret. The butler would sigh and begin to pick up the pages of the book carefully and put them in order, with some ease, and tucked them under his arm after he gave up halfway through. After he watched the crater in the wall pop back outwards and the window sealing itself again, he’d mumble under his breath about this whole place being nothing but a trap, and then walk away to his quarters.

If she chose to stay a little while longer, and perhaps exchange some nicely placed words, he’d not plan on backing down any time soon.

Kitchen
Making his way through a different door, the vampire smoothly took a couple steps inside with one empty tray in his hand. He had been whistling some sort of melody, however the soft tunes soon came to a stop the second he entered the one room he loved the very most in this mansion. It was a mess. Also…A smell of blood was in the air. A frown went across his pale, pale, face. In a calm couple of strides, the male made his way to the nearest counter- where he placed the silver tray down whilst inhaling through his nose the scent of blood again. For the ones who knew Nathaniel, it was when he was quiet and perfectly emotionally still, was when he was angry, or rather annoyed. His eyes glowed a cold icy blue aswell as he turned to face the kitchen again. What type of childish moron could have done such harm to his precious workplace? Nathaniel exhaled, emptying his lungs. He began to fold up the sleeves on his white shirt, all the way to his elbows before he grabbed his tie aswell and angrily tugged it off around his neck so it wouldn’t get in the way. He left his black vest on, and began to work after that. Firstly he handled the blood. Ugh, he thought, sneering at the sight. What a terrible waste..
Being an undead creature that can’t feed on anything but blood, seeing something like this was sure to upset him. It reminded him to ask for more blood however from the caretaker, he himself had not fed in a few days and this one seemed to be the very last they had. Cursing faintly, he soon finished washing the floors and dumped the wet cloth into a bucket filled with what used to be clear water, but was now tinted in shades of red. With his keen sense of smell he could still catch the hint of blood in the air though, not quite concealed by the soap he used. However at this point he detected another scent, a sweeter one. Freshly baked goods, perhaps? Oh, he wasn’t wrong. That curious little French lady had been doing her little artworks again. It cheered him up as he saw them, French sweets were surely his favourite. They had charm. He do wish she would talk more, but she was so awfully shy. With a light chuckle, he gently gathered them up and placed them somewhere they wouldn’t get in the way of his cleaning, before he continued his work. However when reaching the cupboards to organize the different items, he seemed to slow down. His face had a mix of intense focus and slight irritation as he got stuck trying to perfectly place everything. He hesitatingly lifted his hand, but eventually slid the final cup into place after a while of puzzling about. The colors, shapes, sizes, everything had to be perfectly placed together or else he’d go crazy thinking about it. Deeply sighing, he shut the cabinet doors at last. The kitchen looked somewhat alright again, but it wasn’t finished just yet, it needed to look…Well, to his standards, which were rather high especially when it came to the god damn kitchen.

Re: Kitchen

Just outside the Kitchen

The young french maiden had more or less kept to herself since she arrived at the Mansion with no clue to as to how she came to be there, or even why. Her previous life was nothing but a mystery, but she knew her name and the fact that she was just an ordinary french girl caught up in a house with some of the strangest and most peculiar people you could ever imagine. It was for this reason that she had kept to herself. Fear. She was nothing special, in her mind. A human with no talents save the ability to bake. Perhaps that was what she did in her past life. She simply didn’t know, but it came perfectly natural to her. It was a day when she found the library that she happened upon the cook book. It was as though the fancy french swirling lettering and the delightful cover beckoned her to read it. From that moment on, she treasured the cook book, because it was the only thing in the entire house that made her feel…something. It helped give her a chance to carry out a duty within the house, and to do it when most others were either asleep or haunting the grounds.

Now the book was in ruins, and to make matters worse that man that had caused this was going off his brain in a rant that had her stop dead in her tracks. Screaming that she lied. She lied about who she was. If she were a witch, like he claimed, oh…she WOULD put a hex on him for his ill manner and maybe even whip up a spell to seal his lips shut. But Bridgette could do nothing like that.

As she turned back to meet his gaze, he had changed his tune, and was waving her away. Shooing her as he wanted nothing to do with her now. Like dirt that you would find caked to your shoe. An annoyance. He had even punched the wall and sent a virtual shock wave through the wall, creating a large series of cracks in the windows.

From that moment, she truly believed he was dangerous. Dangerous to her, and to anyone he came into contact with. His rage was almost like he was blinded to the very truth of the situation. He said there was nowhere to hide in the mansion, and he had a point about that. Bridgette was ready to turn tail and run. Her heart pounding for all it was worth. How dare he threaten her? How dare he call her a liar. Both hands of the young maiden curled into fists, and this was when the shy french baker suddenly saw red. HOW DARE HE?

She marched right up to him as he held but the cover of the book and a few token pages. With a furious look, she was no longer going to be some little door mouse for others to disrespect. And with that, she twisted her waist ever slightly, and went to slap him across the face with her right hand, the intended strike to hit his left cheek.

When the frail little French girl marched on up to him, Zero Savage expected to be on the other end of a few choice words, all spewed in a language he couldn’t understand of course. So he paid no mind as the gap between them closed, his hands fumbling with the cover of the book.

However, her dainty hand rocketed towards his cheek left. There were many options for him, but he decided not to move as her hand connected with his face, causing the man’s head to shift ever so slightly to the side. The sting from the hit was not physical. No. It was mental. He’d pushed a woman to raising her hand against him. Perhaps he was going about this whole thing wrong. While the darkness in him wanted nothing more than to drag her off, there was a little voice, an angel perched on his shoulder, preaching about being kind and not hitting her back. Equality was a bitch, said the devil on his other shoulder.
The cover in his hands creaked in the seconds that followed, as his grip tightened and broke through the material. Then, only after the book’s cover was discarded to the mess on the floor, did he move.
Assuming she didn’t move, or didn’t have some crazy dangerous weapon hidden away to use against him, the man’s heightened speed would snap into effect as he went to grab her hand, that had just passed by his face, and wrapped his fingers around her entire palm, side tracked by how small her hand was. But that only made him more annoyed. SHE was the dangerous one here. SHE had cursed him. SHE made him feel off and not his usual darker self. The way he liked it.
The Carpathian would rip the woman towards him forcefully. All his might. Closer. Closer. In the end her hand would be held above their heads, slightly over his own shoulder to get the angle correct and he’d touch his cheek with his free hand. He didn’t expect her to go down without a fight or some well placed hits, but it’d not bother him as he lowered his head and leveled his eyes with her’s. Honey colored hues glistened with power, glowing gently, almost pulsing with life, as he thought of what to say, his ironclad grip unwavering.

“That wasn’t very smart.” He whispered through a clenched jaw. Yes Zero. The way to a woman’s heart was definitely to question her intelligence. “And here I was going to let you get a head start…A couple days.” A chuckle as his thoughts wandered. “Are you always this temperamental or am I just a special case?”
He’d take his time.
He’d enjoy every squirm. Every flare of anger. Every hit she tried to dish. But he’d not be letting her go. Not any time soon.

Just outside the Kitchen

Caught in the vice like grip of Zero’s hand, Bridgette was like a fish on a hook – twisting and pulling; trying to free herself from his hold. Was she crazy to even think to slap his face? He had insulted her and for that it was a crime that deserved punishment. A lady had the right to hold her ground, even in the face of being attacked further. Gritting her teeth with her lips practically a thin line, Bridgette made a terrible growling sound. Zero was hurting her now with his increasing pressure on her skin. Held aloft like some prize and now made to suffer further indignity.

Bridgette watched as he caressed the mark where her hand made contact on his skin. She got her point across, that was for sure. But was he about to release her?

“That wasn’t very smart.”

No, it wasn’t but Bridgette was not about to let him see that she knew it. Defiance shone in her eyes. He teased her without mercy, that he was going to give her a head start, a chance to hide. This was a game to him, obviously. Nothing more.

“Are you always this temperamental or am I just a special case?”

Now he was questioning her sanity? Oh, that was the last straw. She couldn’t run…she couldn’t fight against his strength. The only thing she could do….was use what God had given her.

“Doez….your breathez…always zmellz….like de….’orsesz…azz?” She gave back with her broken English. Cruel taunts were all she could think of.

IceTe3a: He watches as Eryda jumped off her horse, with sword in hand she took lead after accepting his request, you could smell them before you could see them as they gave off a most unpleasant odour. “ Frost trolls are a lot stronger than were’s, you best stay on Mersa for safety Cali.” he slid off Mersa leaving Cali to sit on her by her lonesome, as he watched Eryda’s figure walk up into the distance he followed suit keeping his distance enough to give her room but he still wanted to watch her fight the vial creatures. With Mersa and Eryda’s horse following up behind, the townspeople had their doors locked fully aware of the situation by now some even peeked through the windows to watch the upcoming battle. “ I will step in if you can’t handle it” he smirked whilst he said this, almost a playful taunt he knew she would bite back as he looked her up and down with an arched brow, he loved her for her personality and her body. The frost trolls had seemed to have broken into the towns live stock as the cries of animals started to echo throughout the mountain terrain, it was up to Eryda to deal with them this time, he stood there waiting for the battle to start, his lip still bleeding as the trail of blood started to drip down to his chin it didn’t bother him and it never came to him that it may drive Cali stir crazy.

CharlotteCarrendar: – With each step carefully taken, Eryda listened for signs of where the Frost trolls were in the vicinity of the town. Shutters and doors slammed, while frightened villagers huddled inside, knowing better than to take on such beasts on their own. More powerful and vicious than the weres they lived up to their namesake. Xo of course alighted from the Warg and advised Cali to remain on the massive wolf like beast. The blood Elf’s face grew sad from not being able to join in the battle, but she knew better now than to argue with the Witcher. Especially now that his wife had joined them in their quest. Up ahead, Eryda came to a stop – her ears pricked to hear the sounds of animals being slaughtered and most terribly by the Frost trolls. The cattle yards no doubt is where the Frost trolls struck. About to take a step in that direction, she overheard her mate say that he would step in if she could not handle it. A light shake of her head was all he got from her. To think that she needed his help when it came to a pack of Frost trolls. ”Protect your client.” She shot back with as she took off towards the animal enclosure in a sprint. Her speed and agility were well noted. Leaping up onto a railing, she could see four frost trolls, two of which were fighting over a cow, the other two were already half way through some sheep. Balancing on the railing, she then leapt down doing a forward somersault. A loud cry erupting from her lips that was sure to get their attention all too late. The first Frost troll reared up, covered in sheeps blood, and she drove her sword right into it’s chest, and then tore the blade upwards – cutting it right open up to its neck. It shrieked horribly, dropping to its knees, while the others released their kills and moved in on the red witcher. <3>

IceTe3a: He watched as she ran off into the darkness seeking out the frost trolls, she could handle herself he knew that for a fact. Turning back he walked towards Cali as he came to a stop just next to her left leg, glancing around the town they were used to the frost trolls in a town like this, no one really bothered they all knew what to do. Most men ventured to the local tavern in groups to make it slightly safer, the streets were lit with burning torches, fire was something frost trolls despised, it resembled light and fire of course, two things they were weak against. They would need to find a room to spend the night in for the night after Eryda was through playing with the trolls, he glanced up to Cali as he wondered just how long she could last without feeding, would she be hungry again it had been quite awhile since she last fed. “ After the masters are alerted to this, we venture to the mundane, be prepared for anything once we are there.” He turned his back to Cali as he peered around in the darkness keeping a look out, he could hear Eryda screaming out a warriors battle cry as he knew the fight was now in full force. A slight smirk chiseled its way across his face as he knew she would do him proud. : Vlad was sitting on his throne his eyes closed as the day turned to night, for the vampires who never slept this meant nothing. He was thinking.. planning his next move, but first he needed the formalities out of the way, to convene a council, put people in their proper titles such as commanders in the new army and to help run the kingdom, lastly he needed to choose a bride.. he could smell the sweet scent of the many females that roamed these halls, wearing clothing that only showed off and emphasized their features, as they seductively walked about while eyeing him off. They all wanted to be his bride, although female vampires were the dominate ones in the vampire race and the higher ranking of the sex’s he was their king and they needed to equally show him respect without making themselves look weak or less dominate than he, it was a chess game something that needed to either be done boldly or delicately and over time; who chose what path was up to each female. Although each female was.. as beautiful as the last, that was his problem they each were just as beautiful as each other. Although his own preferences were known throughout the kingdom, much like his blessings of silver. He was the strongest and tallest male vampire in the kingdom a true warrior, but the female he would want by his side.. was yet to show herself, he imagined her with black hair much like his own.

CharlotteCarrendar:- The closeness now between Cali and the Witcher had her finding herself almost salivating. It was hard to describe, let alone contain such a craving that she had for his life force – his essence. She could still see the stain from drops of blood that trailed along his bottom lip and she licked her only lips. If only…if only. The torchlight was the only light offered that night to ward off those lurking in the shadows. But with her shining green eyes, Cali could see perfectly well in the dark. Brought back to what he was saying when Xo mentioned the mundane village being their port of call after they deal with the council, she remembered that that was where her husband was. Some hideous mundane Queen had him her slave, and that was something she was going to fight to change. Staying seated on the Warg, Cali offered. ”We can start off again before dawn. Once your mate has finished dealing with the Frost trolls.” What she wanted to say or rather ask was how would his mate feel if she needed to feed off him in her presence. That was always in the back of her mind. In the distance, you could hear Eryda’s blood curdling war cry. A head rolled out from under one of the cattle yard fences, as she felled yet another Frost troll where he stood. The other two knew that if they continued to fight, she would end them as well, and so they both gave up their kills and fled off into the night. Her face bloody and her chest heaving from exertion, she sheathed her blade, and simply started to walk back towards where she had left Xo and the Blood Elf. No doubt she was going to need a bath. :: In the Vampire castle, word had spread of the rise of the new King, as the former Queen had made a hasty retreat after her declaration of war with the Witcher race. Now all the females of the court were passing the King’s throne, each more beautiful than the next. But one of the last to bring up the rear was a girl that was far different than all the others. She had skin like porcelain, eyes the reddest of red that were hued with a light grey sheen. Full lips and onxy coloured hair that flowed down and rested just above her ass. Taller than the rest, she walked with a refined air. A noble, there was no question about it, and one that would be ideal as a future bride of the new King. Her name…Xyira. <3>

IceTe3a: He heard the soft footsteps that had to be his wife Eryda as he turned around, watching as she came out of the darkness covered in blood and sweat with a simple smirk. He smiled as he walked up to greet her, grabbing her shin with his index finger and thumb he moved her face around as his yellow hues examined her fine skin, looking for any wounds that may have occurred, he was very protective of her and this was one of his ways of showing her he loved her. Reaching into his jacket with his free hand he pulled out a concoction of herbs in liquid form, something he always brewed up for Eryda to keep her fit and healing strong, since she didn’t have the same healing replenishment he did; his alchemy helped her healing and usually gave her a few vials before she left amongst teaching her basic herbology and alchemy. His thumb let go of her chin only to press against her bottom lip, pressing down on it her lips parted willingly as he poped the top of the vial “Drink this, darling. “ he said simply as he placed the open vial to her lips as he slowly tipped it into her mouth he watched with a slight smile of a lover. Waiting for her to finish drinking he closed the cap and placed it into his jacket once more, his thumb slipped from her lips as they bounced close, now taking her chin again he pulled her in slowly bringing her to a kiss as he kissed her with a loving passion for but a moment before pulling back “Well done “ he said as he turned to face the same way she was, his arm wrapped around her back as his fingers wrapped gently around her side. Leading her towards Cali he nodded towards the Tavern “Food some drink and find a room for the night, then we shall resupply and continue. Cali, go ahead into the Tavern I need to speak to Eryda alone for a moment” he said this while looking at Cali, as he waited for her to leave and enter the Tavern he turned to face his lover and smiled. “Cali.. needs to feed, She feeds on the magical life force of others. As you know my life force cannot be drained so easily.”he sighed slightly as his eyes met hers, he went silent for a moment “She’s feeding off mine, so she doesn’t kill others it’s for the best until the jobs done. “ he didn’t know how Eryda would take this, he only knew she could quite possibly be pissed that someone else was touching what was rightfully hers. : As they passed, he sat there listening to their feet tapping against the floor, he did not bother to open an eye to glance at any of them. He was waiting to see who would be brave enough, it was no secret he liked it rough, he liked his women to be beautiful and affectionate but dominating and rough at the same time, a rare thing to find in deed like the perfect blood flower. A scent hit his nose as he took it in, his eyes shot open as he glanced directly at one particular female for a moment, she was beautiful.. stunning even, taller than the rest of the females by far; her skin looked soft and delicate as her eyes had a look to them that could not be denied, he was examining her for but a second before he closed his eyes again. It was more than he gave to any other female before she had obviously sparked his interest for a moment, he couldn’t deny that she looked exactly like the female he would want, but looks were not everything to him as he leaned back into his chair the back of his head resting against the throne itself as each arm spread against the arm rest, he wanted a female that wasn’t afraid to inflict pain.. to dominate.. to love. He wanted more than someone who just wanted to improve their social status but that was a hard find, although the female vampires took quite easy to harming males, using them as their toys he wanted all that and more he wanted a female to claim him as hers and only want him. Soon he would have to retire from his throne and start working through other details that needed his attention.

CharlotteCarrendar:- With a welcoming gaze the red witcher stopped before her mate, and allowed him to administer the vial that would help replenish her after her battle with the Frost trolls. She closed her eyes, drinking down the last drop, till opening them and finding that her love had swept her into his arms and sealed the drink with a kiss. She kissed back just as fiercely, only to then be swung back in the direction of the Warg and of course the blood elf. The Blood elf had waited quietly, not really ready to try and engage in conversation with Eryda. She just didn’t feel it was her place. The couple walked back together – unified, and this made up for all the months that they were apart. Already in the back of Eryda’s mind she was planning how to spend their first night alone together, but as she thought this, Xo went to ask the Blood Elf to go off ahead, as he wished to speak to Eryda alone. Once the two had been left, Eryda looked at Xo quizzically, wondering what it was that he wanted to talk to her about without the Blood elf in ear shot. What he had to say had her jaw fall open. ”She feeds off you?” It seemed simply to incredulous to believe, till it was explained that it stopped her killing anything else along the way out of hunger. ”Forgive me, but…I really don’t like another woman…sinking her fangs into you, let alone touching you. It was bad enough that I thought Valencia had finally gotten her way.” Eryda broke free from his hold, as she turned her back for a moment. Normally she wouldn’t care, for she knew that his love for her was true but she had never come across this type of situation before. She didn’t doubt Xo’s fidelity, she simply didn’t like the idea of another woman getting ideas. Looking back over her shoulder, she had to ask. ”What if she becomes addicted to you? Hmm? Have you ever considered that?” It was a very good question. :: Xyria stopped before the King, and went into a low curtsey that showed off ample bosom that was strapped down beneath what was a Victorian styled gown. Sheer black cloth only accentuated the smooth curves of her form. ”M’lord.” her voice was rich and sultry, but had a rough edge to it. ”I am Xyria, a dark child with very strong tastes in the exotic.” The smile that appeared on her lips oozed sexuality and prowess. She could have any man that she so desired, and right now, she wanted the King. Boldly she took the steps up that led to the throne, and then circled the throne, like a black panther that stalked its prey. Her scent was unlike the others, leaving one light headed. She finally stopped at the side of the throne, and purred. ”Shall we play a game?” <3>

IceTe3a: A simple smile against his lips as he knew Eryda was jealous of the thought in another woman touching him, her question was well within reason as she turned her back to him. Walking up slowly to her, he wrapped his arms around her waist as he pulled her back in against his chest, his chin simply came to rest on her shoulder. He kept quiet for a moment as he thought about the question as he gave her a sideways glance “We will have to do better than that, re unite her with her husband and send them on their way before it happens.. he chuckled slightly as he gave her a light nudge “Kind of sounds like a challenge, suited for people of our skill, think we’re up for the challenge? It should prove dangerous… She will need to feed tonight. he smiled and kissed her neck giving her a light squeeze “I will organize her a separate room away from ours, allow her to feed and then, come back to you just in time for your bath. Go now get us a room and wait for me” He smiled as he led her into the tavern, giving Eryda a slap on the ass he left her on her on for a small while. He walked over to the counter and paid for two rooms on opposite ends of the building throwing Eryda the key to their room he smiled giving her a wink. As he turned he could see Cali in the far end, slowly he approached her, his fresh blood still dripping from his lip “Come I will show you to your room, and you need to feed” he took her by the arm and slowly lead her down the hall to her room, as he opened the door he placed the key on the side table by the door and walked straight in waiting for cali to walk through he was standing with his back to her in the middle of the room. : He could hear her footsteps as she came up and introduced herself as Xyria, he listened as she circled his throne, her scent was seductive and potent to capture the heart of any man. He did not show off that he was interested though as she continued to examine him, he wanted to see just what she was going to do. She had proposed to play a game, he did not want to come off easy or desperate as he waved her off “I am no child, go play games with the children if you must” he made it look like a denial but he wanted to see just how far she was willing to go.

CharlotteCarrendar; – Eryda simply hated the feelings of jealousy. The rise of what was like a nasty green goblin within her that she wanted desperately to swat away. But it had been months since she had spent but one night alone with him, and this was what she sought more than anything. His arms enveloping her, while resting his chin on her shoulder showed that he had the utmost respect and love for her. The key to stopping Cali getting addicted was to reunite her with her blood elf husband as soon as they could. That was the challenge. Eryda let out a sigh and then nodded in agreement, she was never one to shy from a task and this was how she needed to look at it. The Blood elf did not love her mate, she simply needed his essence the same way others needed food to live, air to breathe. She wrinkled up her nose, when Xo said he had to go and let Cali feed on him and that he would do it in a room that was as far from their own – on the other side of the tavern. Knowing that she was bloody and with torn clothing, she accepted that she needed to go and have a bath, and pushed off to do so, but only with Xo slapping her arse on the way. Eryda left him with a knowing smile, before ascending the stairs in the tavern to a room that would be perfect for their needs. A warm bath was just what the doctor ordered. Cali; who had been waiting for the Witcher saw the red Witcher go the opposite way to Xo and She was brought along by the arm to what would be her room. “Come I will show you to your room, and you need to feed” There was not mistaking the hunger she was feeling, and when he led her into her own room he stood in the middle of the room like he was waiting for her. Tentatively she shut the door behind her and crossed the floor. Her eyes sweeping over him till coming to his lip, that had the drop of rich blood. She didn’t mention the red witcher, or speak of her husband. She went up on her tip toes and kissed away the blood that was over his lips. A soft purr escaping as she let her lips trail down to his neck, her body heaving as the need grew stronger. A gasp and she began to feed at the spot between his shoulder and neck, her nails digging into his form. It wasn’t sexual, but it was damn close. :: Xyria smirked as the new King said he was not a child, and didn’t wish to play games. The black haired vampire ran her tongue across her top row of teeth and then was shocking. Xyria straddled him in his throne and ran her claws through his hair, making no mistake that she was ballsy enough to try such a move at the chance of rejection. ”I take no prisoners, M’lord…only toys. Not the kind for a child, either.” Her nails extended and he would feel them press into his scalp. <3>

IceTe3a: He waited as he heard Cali close the door behind her, the room went dark but he could still see as he heard her feet padding against the wood floor she circled round, his eyes glanced down to her as she came up and kissed his lips almost sucking on them, a brow arched as he knew if Eryda knew about this they would both be dead on the floor quick smart. She wasted no time as her teeth sunk into his neck just down near his shoulder, her lips pressed forcefully against his skin as he came down to a kneel to her will, he could feel her purring against his skin as she fed off him, he could feel his life essence seeping into her mouth as she sucked down with force. He allowed this to go on for awhile and wondered if she would be able to hold herself back, as time passed by he pressed his fingers against her shoulders“Enough cali? “ she had been feeding off him for some time and he wondered if she had her fill yet. : vlad heard what she said and arched a brow slightly as she came down to straddle his lap on the throne, his eyes opened slightly as he looked up at her, his eyes looking deeply into hers as her nails dug down into his scalp “Can you handle me though? Can you tame me? “ he smirked as his eyes almost dared her to, it went unnoticed but the other females slowly disappeared from the room leaving the two alone, Xyria had said she wanted him as her personal toy, but would she really? He wondered just how dominate she was and if she would even be able to utilize him for only her needs.

CharlotteCarrendar:- Cali fed so strongly that it brought Xo to his knees, unlike other times when he had simply stood and watched her. Only when he pressed his fingers to her shoulders and uttered if it was enough, she withdrew from him. Cali appeared almost groggy with the sheer amount of energy she had just consumed. Her lips parted and she breathed heavily through her mouth. ”I don’t know what came over me, Witcher.” It was true, the addiction had taken a firm hold of her being. She looked away timidly, and brought a hand up to her mouth as though trying to wipe it clean, like she had gorged herself. Looking about the room, she gathered herself, and then realized that the Red Witcher would be waiting for him. ”You should go. I will be ready to leave at first light.” Cali stood there and waited for the Witcher to take his leave. Meanwhile up the other end of the tavern, Eryda was peeling off her blooded and torn clothes, leaving a trail right up to the large wooden slat bath. Steam rose from the tepid water, and she reached up to tie back her hair so that it was no longer sitting on her shoulders. She threw one leg over and then the other, before sinking beneath the waters till it was up to her neck. The light sound of the water lapping the sides was the only thing heard, as Eryda was bathed in a simple candle light. The Red witcher reached for a bar of soap and then started to wash the stain of blood from her body, all the while missing her beloved, who was alone in a room with the Blood elf. :: Xyria stared straight into the new King’s eyes as he asked her but a simple question; could she tame him? A dare? Or a challenge? All the other women had left the chambers leaving the new King to explore this woman that had taken her place on his lap. ”Even the most deadly creature becomes putty in the hands of a skilled lover.” She extended her claws further and glanced behind her to see that they were indeed alone. ”Question is, can you sate my lust?” The words were edged a wicked tone. Xyria ripped back the King’s coat and shirt, exposing to her his chest. She sunk her claws into the soft flesh between his shoulders and chest and dragged them down as she licked at his lips. Toying with him. <3>

IceTe3a: As she got off him and came to a stand he could see a surprising feature across her face, she seemed to be in shock he could not help but to wonder why as he came to a stand himself, he ran his fingers against the spot where her lips were pursed against his skin feeling the bite marks as they slowly healed. It only took moments for his body to react and start to take care of itself, of course this would increase the scent of his magical essence in the room as his body was using it to repair what injury he had sustained. “I intend to, we will come for you at first light to gather supplies then be on our way, goodnight Cali” he said as he turned and headed for the door. Opening the door as he went through he left Cali alone to her thoughts whilst the door closed, stretching his neck slightly he walked across the hall and up the stairs towards his own room as he took note at the weary travelers who had come to find food and drink for the night, he had spent enough time away from his wife and didn’t bother wasting time as he quietly came to the door with a slight smirk he opened it without a sound. Coming into the room he closed it just as quietly, noticing Eryda had just slipped into the bath he smiled, taking off his shirt and weaponry as it laid down on the table without a sound he was now shirtless creeping up to her back as she laid there. Slowly he descended onto his knees directly behind her as he kissed her neck gently whilst his hands ran down her shoulders slowly looping around bringing her into a cuddle “I am yours once more my love” : He felt as her nails grew further they dug down into his scalp as they slowly coursed through his hair, a slight smile of amusement as their eyes were looking into each others, . ”Even the most deadly creature becomes putty in the hands of a skilled lover.” she rebutted as a slight chuckle escaped his lips, “Perhaps, a skilled lover and a dominate master.. Pain is pleasure they both work as equal wouldn’t you say? he could feel her weight pressing down on his lap as she sat there straddling him, her eyes examining his form as her claws sunk down into his shoulders slowly they dragged down onto his bare chest grazing the skin they passed over ”Question is, can you sate my lust?” a simple smile as his lips parted “I wouldn’t be who I was if I could not do that and more.. There is only one way to find out isn’t there my dear?”he just tempted her to utilize him, treat him like an object of hers as that is all males were to the females of their race. His eyes wondering up and down her form as he wondered if she could be the one, the only female he would need to feed his every needs which in turn was the needs of the female, it was common that the king or queen would take more than one to fill their needs but on occasion they were lucky enough to find that single one that met their every desire, but was she able to?

CharlotteCarrendar: – Left alone in her room, Cali looked away from the door that the Witcher had just gone through. He had been polite to her after she had fed, and not made light of the fact that she sensed that perhaps her actions had gone too far. Cali couldn’t possibly imagine what would happen if her desire to feed became so great that she lost herself in a terrible frenzy. It had not ever happened to her before, but she knew of those that had such sore addictions it drove them crazy not to get their fill. Slowly, Cali sat herself down on her bunk. She brought her fingers up to her lips, where she could still feel the sensation of warmth from the Witcher’s body. The blood elf knew she would have to find her husband and fast…leaving this place behind and hunt on the plentiful beings in her own world. To stay too long here, she endangered everything. :: The light splash of water was heard as Eryda washed herself down with the soap covered sponge. Dabbing lightly, and her back to the door, she did not hear her husband enter silently. Only when he draped his arms around her and kissed her neck, did she show a smile. At last, time alone for the pair. Xo said he was hers once more, and she didn’t doubt it for a second. Turning in the bath so that the pair were facing each other. Her eyes trailed down his neck, and she saw the remains of what was the blood elf’s fang marks into his skin. Eryda had to fight back her feelings of jealousy once more, and so she brushed her lips to that of her husband’s. ”Show me you are mine.” she whispered in a husky voice. It was not just a request. :: The Vampire maiden with hair the darkest onyx had toyed with the new King. Long deep scratches now graced his flesh, and her fingers danced across these same scratches till she zeroed in on her future lover. Her head tilted back slightly, and the long white ivory dog teeth extended beyond her crimson lips. She seized the back of the Vampire King’s head and tore his scalp to the left, exposing his neck for her delight. A wild cry and she sunk her own fangs deep into his supple skin – piercing the flesh and she gripped his arm with her free hand, whilst feasting on him with a wicked sense of rough play. <3>

IceTe3a: He smiled as he watched Eryda flip around in the bath so she was laying on her stomach and facing him, he smirked as she asked him to prove he was really hers, he didn’t need her to say it twice as his arms linked behind her neck gently, leaning in his lips met hers with passion as he held the kiss, his right hand sliding down to cup her cheek for the briefest of moments. Pulling back slightly he looked down and smiled “If you miss me that much, you should never leave” he laughed playfully as he knew she was a free spirit and truly loved him but her work was her work and she went where it took her, regardless if it led her away from him. It was no lie he did prefer her to travel with him and would much rather her to always be by his side but this was not always the case. Gripping her shoulders softly he flipped her onto her back as he kicked his shoes off, stepping in the bath he sat on the edge as his legs were inside, he leaned her in against his legs as he took up the sponge and soap slowly he rubbed it over her body as his hand explored her whilst cleaning, he started with her chest as he leaned down and kissed her neck with a soft peck. “ Do you plan to stay for good this time and find work together?” he smiled as he knew it was on the cards for them to permanently stay together at one stage. : He watched as she leaned back slightly her long white teeth extended past her lips as his head was ripped to the side exposing his neck, soon came the pinch from her teeth biting down in his neck as he gasped slightly, he could feel her slowly drinking from him as her hand gripped down against his arm, his blood would have a powerful flow about it, something rare in the vampire men as he was the strongest of them all to date. His arms wrapped around her as he took her in closer to his body, this was a gesture of acceptance, he had chosen his bride. It would be officially sealed later but for now the two have expressed their interest in each other, and both had accepted to spend their eternal life with each other, him as her personal toy and object. This was all a part of Vlad’s plan as it was the first step in securing his title to the throne next he would have to give out titles and positions in the kingdom to those worthy to keep it running, it would be a long few weeks before the kingdom was like its former glory back before the vampire wars.

CharlotteCarrendar; – That first kiss. Such raw passion displayed was just what Eryda needed from Xo. This was proof without a doubt. It was like he was claiming her all over again, and thoughts of the Blood elf soon faded into nothingness. To see his smile, and then tell her that she should never leave him, brought a slight shrug of the shoulders. Eryda had only ever known the life of a loner and up till now it had suited her. Meeting up with her lover on brief occasions like this, then going their separate ways to where they are needed. Kings and nobles with money to spare that needed the expertise of a Witcher to deal and do what no one else would. But nights were often lonely ones and Eryda never took another man to lay with her out of need. This is what made their meetings so good. Sharing what little time they had together made it all the more romantic. Eryda allowed him to move her so that when he entered the bath she would be laying with her back to his chest. This enabled him to massage and wash her cares away. Thinking for a moment, Eryda offered. ”I have a feeling you need me more than ever with all that has come to pass in my absence. The Council will not be pleased, and then of course there is the war…and returning the Blood elf to her husband. I know I will be happy to see the back of her.” Was that another touch of jealousy? Eryda couldn’t help it. She turned her head so she could see the Witcher’s face. ”Maybe it is time, I came home for good.” That was her way of saying yes, that she would work with him and travel wherever he would go. :: The feeding frenzy from the black haired Vampire maiden was more than enough to prove that she was worthy to be the new King’s mate. She drew her head back and then gripped the sides of his face, kissing him hungrily, all the while writhing upon his lap. Taking all she could from his body in a show of unbridled lust. Her cries of passion filling the empty hall as she used him and well. His arms wrapping around her only confirmed this fact. Breaking the kiss, her eyes dilated and blood staining her lips and chin, she softened slightly. ”I am yours…as you are mine.” <3>

IceTe3a: -He smiled finally hearing that she was willing to stay by his side for good, each night they were apart he was in constant worry, never fully knowing if they would be reunited. A sigh of relief as his free hand started to massage the knots in her body allowing her muscles to relax once more. Slowly he would wash her body all over until she was clean, dropping the sponge into the water he went to work on her body giving it a deep and strong massage to allow her to relax, reaching over the side with one hand he pulled out a purple liquid filled vial, popping it he allowed 3 drops to hit the water as it was a potent mixture of flowers mainly lavender which was rare and unknown to most, it would give off a strong relaxing scent to help relax the body, calm the steel like nerves as well as heal the body from any wounds she may have within the warm waters. He always had a vial made up but only ever used it when they were together, kings and queens have paid handsomely for even a single vial of this was worth a kings ransom, he was the only one who knew how to make it and where to get the required ingredients “ I’m glad to hear you say that love, It takes worrying off my mind and only shows more room for love. Please relax and allow me to work your tolling work out of your body” slowly but surely he massaged each muscle on her body skillfully, having learned all the proper pressure pads on one’s body was key as it helped with the healing process as well Eryda seemed to enjoy it. He smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and started working on her legs whilst his chin laid upon her shoulder. : He felt her pull back as he smiled looking up at her, she kissed him with a fierce passion to show her delight in her new toy and new found title. Leaning back she advised that they were each others, he nodded in agreement as he smiled “We have a lot of work to bring our race and kingdom up to its former glory my darling, I wish you by my side for each step and each decision” He just told her that he indeed wanted her by his side and furthermore her hand in raising their race to its former glory and then some, such power given to the bride of the king was a rarity but that is how Vlad was, as long as she could satisfy his needs to be utilized as such an object.. her object and she stayed faithful to him only; he would be more than happy to entice her with more stature and please her beyond her wildest dreams.

CharlotteCarrendar: – The subtle fragrances rose with the steam as the vials did their work to make this bath all the more relaxing and tranquil. Eryda could feel the delight and release of tension from her body, which at times was weary from all the battles and fights that she got into. The red haired witcher’s lips parted as she released soft sighs. His hands feeling for her pressure points and knowing just where to rub and where to be gentle. Xo was more than skilled. Years of learning, had meant that he could provide well for any woman he did so chose, and there was no one above Eryda. There was nothing to the pair could not accomplish together. Eryda bowed her head as she felt the press of Xo’s chin on her shoulder, his hands working her thighs thoroughly. ”I’d forgotten how good this feels.’ Her voice; almost breathless at his touch. The love that he exuded from his gentle ways only reinforcing her love for him. Eryda brought her hand up from the water, and cupped it to Xo’s cheek. A rare display of affection that she afforded no other man. Would they get much sleep this night? That remained to be seen. For now they simply enjoyed each other’s touch and the intimacy from being alone. :: Xyria had passed the test to show her dominance towards the King. A display that meant she was fit to rule alongside him. But there was much to be done. The former Queen had done a great deal of damage, and soon it may come to pass that a war would be waged. Xyria was unafraid. Still straddling his lap, and running her slender fingers along his face she answered his call. ”Our race will rise to greatness, and all who doubted us shall be put to shame.” <3>

IceTe3a: Feeling the soft touch of her hand cupping against his cheek made his skin shiver as he rubbed his cheek against her open palm slowly as he enjoyed her touch, his fingers slowly dragged up her legs and came to rest on her stomach as he worked the pressure pads on her stomach, making sure to be firm but gentle. [b] “ You’ve been gone for far too long, I make sure you’re in perfect shape before I let you leave anywhere” he smiled lightly as he kissed her fingertips, it was true he sometimes made excuses to force her to stay in his company for a day or two longer until he knew she was fully recovered, even if she never realized it. “ I believe the masters will be pleased that you’ve chosen to stay with me from now on, we have a lot of work on our hands between reuniting the lost love of Cali and her husband and finding the Vampire queen and dealing with her and her army.” he smiles knowing the days ahead would be long and hard but they will be together which will make it all worthwhile. He continued to work her body with his fingers making sure to massage each muscle into relaxing, this was something he only ever did for her a more personal gesture than something he’d commonly use freely on anyone. The night was getting late as they had spent a great deal of time in the water, it was now slightly warm as he chuckled. ” time always seems to fly whilst I am with you” he got out of the bath soaking wet as he walked over and picked up a drying cloth, walking back to the tub he stood there waiting for Eryda to climb out so he may dry her down. : “Indeed it will, we need to make sure the witchers treaty with our race stays true. “he smiled as he looked up into her eyes, her skin rubbing against him almost drove him crazy as he knew she was now his and his alone. Knowing full well of what work would be needed to be done just to get the kingdom up and running again, he pressed his fingers to her lips gently as he ran them across tracing the outline “Where do you suggest we start my dear? “ His eyes watching hers with deep love for her, a bond like this is not something that came easy as to pick a life partner for eternity was a rare sight but it was common, the rarity of it working out for eternity was the hard part, although he could not see any issue with having Xyria by his side for eternity, her beauty was unrivalled none could stand in her shadow let alone by her side although he had never seen her before.

CharlotteCarrendar: – Rising up from the now cooling waters, the droplets ran down Eryda’s bare skin and there was a subtle sound as she stepped out of the bath and into the towel, that Xo had waiting for her. She treasured his affection, and he made her feel truly blessed. No other would receive such attentions and this made her smile all the more. Feeling his large calloused hands rub the towel over her body, she felt totally unashamed in her nakedness. The soft light of the candles illuminated the pair as the stood facing each other. Xo spoke of how he would ensure that she was in perfect health and shape for when she ever did leave. Perhaps she needed to reinforce what she had already agreed too. With her soft hues gazing up at him, she made her vow true. ”I say it here and now, I’m not leaving you again. No amount of gold, or treasure….no adventure is greater than the journey I take this night with you.” Eryda slowly took the drying cloth, and now it was her turn to do the honor of drying his body. Gently her hands moved, working to dry each and every inch of his body. Praising him almost. When at last they were dry, she draped the towel on a chair, and then took his hand. Leading him to the bed, she gestured for him to lay. When he had done so, she crawled into bed, and her body half covered his own. Skin to skin, beneath a wool cover; Eryda’s hands danced across his chest and down his side. Fingers strumming, while she stole kisses that ran from his neck to his chin. She would make him remember this night, the reunion of the Witchers. The morning would be the start of the new adventure but for now she just wanted him to herself. :: Xyria rose from the King’s lap and her dress flowed down to the floor as she stood before her King. Hand extended for him to take and rise himself. So much was to be done now, and the people, the vampires of the Kingdom needed reassurance that the new King and his chosen could lead them to greatness. Xyria had stood out from all the other women of the court. Unlike her predecessor, she had no interest at all in the likes of the Witcher. She wanted a man to dominate, and found that in the new King. ”Let us show the Kingdom, the future of the Monarchy.” <3>

IceTe3a: Watching as she slowly dried his body, he stood there naked in form though it hardly fazed him, it allowed her to see all his old scarring and his new scars from battle a symbol of his skills no doubt. He heard her promise to him that there was nothing in the world that could drag her away from his side anymore, she now preferred to be with him as he smiled, he was happy with her decision and knew it was hers fully as he’d never force her against her will. As she lead him towards the bed he laid down on his back, his hues watching her as she came to lay ontop her fingers working their way against his skin as he shivers in kind, feeling her lips press to his for a brief moment before she started to kiss down his neck, his arms wrapping around her as he knew she was showing her appreciation towards him. He was happy to have her by his side and still in love with him, that was more than he could ask for. He leans in and kisses her with passion as his fingers slowly trace her back muscles, “ Darling, your presence will always make me happy and be more than enough for me” his fingers grasp under her chin as he kisses her again with a strong passion almost forcing their lips against each other, a slight smirk as his teeth nip against her bottom lips playfully. “ Perhaps now I can protect you and keep you from harm “ giving her a cheeky wink as he knew she could more than easily handle herself in any battle. : Watching as she came to stand in front of him, he almost missed the feeling of her weight against him as he felt her fingers slide from him only to ask for him to rise with her, he accepted the gesture and rose to come standing behind her, their bodies pressed together as he stood taller than she was. She wanted to take a stroll through the town to allow the towns people to see their new king and queen? He smiled at the gesture and nodded “A casual stroll would be good” he smiled gently as he walked to her side, gently he took her hand and guided her out of the castle towards the town. People would cheer or bow in respect for their new king and queen, it would be obvious that he had chosen her as his bride. It would become lawfully official later once time allowed it but for now for them it was already official .

CharlotteCarrendar: – A wry smile came to Eryda’s lips when told that now Xo would be able to protect and keep her from harm. It had been a long time since a man offered to do that for her. She let out a light giggle, and moved to be on top of him completely, and then posed a cheeky question. ”Who is going to protect you from me?’ This was sealed with a lover’s kiss, as in the background the candles were now burning low, with wax dripping to form puddles on the floor. This was when the couple would unite properly, making love beneath the warm covers, their bodies the perfect fit to the other. :; With Xyria and Vlad leaving the main audience chamber to the warmth of the gathered crowd, Vlad could be pleased with the acceptance of Xyria so readily. She may have proved to him to be worthy, but she was yet to do so publicly. :; In a land a good two days ride away, in a run down castle that had been abandoned by its host, the former Queen was screaming and plotting her revenge, as a healer tried to work on her scarred flesh. She pushed the girl away and a bowl of foul smelling ointment hit the floor, sizzling on the stone tile. ”I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE ON THE WITCHER…AND ALL HE CARES FOR!….THIS IS NOT OVER…THIS IS NOT OVER!!!” <3>

Downtown Haven
Downtown Haven is the main part of the city where people go about their day to day lives.
Whether it’s work or play, you can find just about anything in this area.
At the west end, you can find the warehouse district. To the east, you have the low income housing district.
To the north and south are the clubs, businesses and shopping areas.
Please state the location of your character at the beginning of your post.

Warehouse District

-she was alone, had been for awhile. Shade sat curled on the ground beside a dumpster. Watching the street bums, gang of delinquents, and foolish passer byers that thought it be ok to walk through the warehouse district of Haven at night. Not many glanced in her direction, they were wise not to. For those who knew Sadie “Shade” McBride, knew that you didn’t mess with her, you didn’t go near her, and at all costs don’t make eye contact with her. Short curly brown hair and amber colored eyes, she was a girl that was just to thin, just to frail looking. Some assumed she was on some massive kinds of drugs, but never had she touched the stuff in her life. She was just that way you know, her lot in life to be the scrawny bastard of a lousy Alpha who couldn’t keep his pack together much less alive for very long. A lone wolf pushed into the solitary life and not by choice but by stupid decisions and fate.

Beside her, a black and white terrier mutt laid on the ground quiet at the moment and tethered to his masters wrist by means of a ragged rope to a thoughtfully stolen dog collar. Her sweet dog and only ‘pack mate’ and she would tear out the throat of anyone that tried to take the beast from her, the leash was only recently a knew addition, because humans had an issue with roaming loyal pets.

Glancing up her eye narrowed in on one man who was walking with some determination glancing down at his watch, his very nice watch, he seemed like he was in a hurry. She wasn’t the only one watching him, she easily spotted some of the wanna-be-gansters eying the man. No one made a move and they were smart to.

Shade stood up rolling her neck she crossed the road her dog at her heels she checked the road once, twice, then crossed making a beeline for the man. Timing it perfectly the man walked right into her, her hands slipped through his coat like lightning just as she was falling backwards slipping the wallet she had just stolen into the sleeve of her coat. She had even cried out in shock for added effect.

“What they hell man!” she cried and leaned forward rubbing her ass where she had landed. Her dog began a repartition of rapid barking at the man.

The man grumbled apologies and offered to help her up, weary of the dog as he was. she swatted his hand to the side and stood on her own, “fuck off, watch where your walking next time!” she snapped at him and slide her hands into her pocket, letting the wallet slide into her coat pocket.

Once down the darkened ally and she was sure she was far enough to where his human eyes couldn’t see her, she smiled, “come on.” she said to her dog and together they jogged down the maze of alleyways…making sure they wouldn’t be so easily caught if the man ever found out.

Old cars that no longer were even registered lined the roads, along with trash cans that were overflowing.  Kids ran out and played on the streets and the singing of some Momma who was hanging out her laundry created a feeling that though this was the rough end of town, that life went on.  A daily struggle for many, but to others this was all they knew.  Pimps, pick pockets and prostitutes.  The three P’s.  Gangs were rife and murders..well, they were so regular now that no one seemed to care.  The wail of a siren, the blaring of a fire truck….the echo of another ambulance.  The air was rich with smog and exhaust fumes, mixed in with some home cooking.  It was the Down Town.  Way…down town.

Walking along and kicking a can, we have Skull, a regular kid of these parts.  Skin tight jeans, sneakers, ripped t and hoody.  He didn’t wear colours, cause he was part of no gang.  He was a loner.  Liked his own company, but was ready with a knife if he had to fight for his life.  Knives against guns are often a death in the making, but Skull had speed, and agility.  Not to mention, he was a cool dude.  Never phased and death didn’t scare him.

Minding his own, he happened to see a well to do get into a jam with a slight of a girl and her rope tied mutt.  Watching with a raised brow, he saw the trick.  Watched her hand move slyly into the guy’s coat.  Oldest trick in the book.  Bemused at her antics, and her language to the hapless guy who just got ripped of his wallet, Skull decided to follow the young miss.  He was bored, and she could prove to be the day’s entertainment.

Jogging across the street he followed her down the dark maze of alleys which he knew like the back of his hand.   He whistled as he walked along.  Then leapt up onto an old car body and did a MJ move, complete with crotch grab.  If that didn’t get her attention….nothing would

“Hey!”

-Shade had sensed someone following her, but she didn’t pay much attention to the tail. If they were smart they would eventually get the hint, or someone good Samaritan would tell them, they were in for a world of hurt if they didn’t stop right now. Seems like that wasn’t going to happen.

Whatever she didn’t care, she stopped walking and turned to lean on a brick wall, wearing torn up and dirty jeans, the tares ran all the way up to her hip line to show the pretty pink panties peaking beneath. Her shirt was what was left of a Billy Idol T she scooped off someone’s cloths line…it looked nice, so she took it. Course now all you could see was the name scribbled across the top and some hair, she at some point got into a knife fight with a idiot and lost most of the shirt to blood and tares. As for her coat, it was fairly new, she took it from a gang bitch, tore off the gang members lettering afterward, though she thought that sort of gang marking died off years ago, whatever it worked for her needs.

She pulled out the wallet and flipped it open, strumming through the wallet she discovered that the man didn’t have any cash on him, all he had was cards.

“Fuck!” she snapped and kicked the nearest trash pile, disturbing a few rats that scurried across the ground, her dog had to make his displeasure known to, as he started a serious of barking at them.

Just at that moment though, she heard a loud thump of something hitting metal and the loud shout of “Hey!”

Turning her amber gaze on the youth that so foolishly called on her, she had a feeling it had been him that had been tailing her. Well he had her attention now, and she wasn’t to happy to see him grabbing his crotch at her either.

“Can I help you,” she shouted back, the dog really started barking then.

Glancing down she snapped her finger at her dog, “Hercules…shut it,” she snapped, the dog whined and laid down, going quiet.

“You must not be to bright if you decided to follow me,” she said, a feral grin spreading across her face.-

Skull found the girl’s demeanor to be amusing.  Telling him that he wasn’t too bright to be following her.  That was a laugh.  Skull leapt down off the car and landed with a grace that was unmistakable.  He reached up and rubbed under his chin thoughtfully, before saying;

“Well expecting there to be cash in a wallet from a guy like that, down in the hood?  Err…heh, I ain’t the one that is stupid.”

He sauntered over, getting closer to her and asked with a bemused expression;  “It was full of cards, right?”  Skull knew that it would be, and winked at the sassy street girl just to add insult to injury.  “Who in their right mind carries wads of cash, unless they just got a big win at the races?  And we are far far from that.”

Skull looked down at the dog on the rope lead and bared his fangs at him.  Showing he was much more of an animal than the mutt.  “Grrrr…ruff ruff!”  He barked, before flicking back his hoodie and revealing a shock of black hair.  To get a better look at him, you could see that he had the most unusual eyes and the angle of his face.  It wasn’t round, or curved.  More pointed and angular.  He checked out the girl again, and even leaned in to sniff her.

“Ever heard of having a bath?”

Oh what a shocker.

–“Well expecting there to be cash in a wallet from a guy like that, down in the hood?  Err…heh, I ain’t the one that is stupid.” he said back to her after he jumped down from the top of the car.

Shade pushed off the wall and stood up with a legs braced slightly a part, narrowing her gaze as he continued talking to her.  “It was full of cards, right?“ he said to her, and had the balls to wink at her like it was some kind of inside joke. “Who in their right mind carries wads of cash, unless they just got a big win at the races?  And we are far far from that.”

“So what if it was just cards, some people are stupid, I’d have been more stupid if I hadn’t taken the chance…and he just happen to be loaded,” she snorted. He growled at her dog and her amber gaze zeroed in on the fangs in his mouth, her nose twitched, instinct telling her not all was as it appeared.

He threw back the hood of his hoodie revealing black hair a face that was clearly not as young as she had assumed he would be, as most in the area were wanna-be punks. No he was older though she couldn’t pinpoint the exact age. He also had unnsual eyes and as he drew closer to her he started sniffing.

She made a face, one between shock and a sneer, “Ever heard of having a bath?“ he said.

Shade reared back her fist and swung at his face, her intention was to leave a permanent print on his face with her pretty rings, stolen, but pretty, “fuck off!!“-

Skull was street wise, savvy and great to have in a fight.  Sure, he was giving this girl a hard time, and why not?  She looked like she could take it.  Course, he had to go and make the disrespectful comment about whether she knew what a bath was or using one.  The girl reacted angrily and swiftly, but Skull was quick.  He could see that she was going for a punch, the way she drew her arm back.  Oh this was going to hurt…..one of them.  With lightning reflexes that came from his own race, his left hand shot out and gripped her right wrist, while his right hand came up from underneath and aimed to smack hard against her elbow.  While being in the grip of his left hand, this would incapacitate her well and truly.  Also bring them real close.  Snickering as he had her right where he wanted her, he turned his left hand to check her pretty rings, which would have made quite the marking on his face.

“You steal these too?  Don’t look like you could afford such pretty things.  Unless you got a sugar daddy.”

Skull sniffed her again now they were in close proximity.  His head cocked to the right slightly and he whispered with a dark tone;  “Now, I am going to let you go…but you gotta cool your jets, or we are going to get down and dirty.  I may not like to smack a girl, but I will lay you on your ass.”

Pool area, Marulo Estate.

CharlotteCarrendar.

The day was a truly warm one, as the summer sun beat down on the pool area that was at the back of the newly built Marulo estate.  Doing laps for the past hour, Virgo was freestyling back and forth, much like an Olympic swimmer, with precision as he went through the tumble turns and back again.  The water glistened as it lapped the sides of the pool where Gerald stood faithfully – towel at the ready.  Finally Virgo made the last sweeping turn and came back to touch the other end, pleased to having had a good work out.  He flipped back his hair, as he swam to the side of the pool and clamboured out.  Dripping onto the granite tiled flooring, Gerald was at the ready and handed Virgo his towel.  Wearing only small speedos, he was typical of his race – packing those speedos like no one’s business.

“Thanks Gerald.  Elvira up yet?”  He quizzed, wondering if his wife was enjoying her lie in.  With the kids now grown they had more time for each other, but Virgo still had his morning rituals and in summer, the day started with a swim.

“No Sir, I believe Sally is checking in on her now.”  Gerald had been with the family as long as could be remembered.  A proud and valued member of the Pack, he served his Master and Lord faithfully and flawlessly all this time.  Virgo gave Gerald a wolfish grin, as he contemplated going up to their master suite and shaking down the excess water on her while she slept.  Gerald knew that wicked glimmer and chuckled.  “I know that look Sir.  Sally would have your hide tanned, regardless of her place.”

image

Virgo let out a roar of laughter and slapped Gerald’s back.  “A man can dream…can’t he?”

Together the two walked towards the patio entrance, where another staffer was ready with yet another towel.  Virgo took it with a wink and wrapped it around himself.  He had a tight schedule that day and already was famished for breakfast.  No doubt Cookie would need to have her wits about her.

image

“I could eat a horse.”  Virgo stated, rubbing the towel on his head.

“Which one, Sir?” Gerald asked with a bemused expression.

“Yours if you’re not careful.”

Again the two men laughed, but Virgo then looked serious.  He really was hungry.

Family Dining Room
image

As Virgo was going for his morning swim, his long-time wife and mate, Elvira was in fact sitting at the dining room table, enjoying a cup of coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. Some would be shocked by this as Elvira was a born and bred English woman who lived and died by a great cup of tea. But after a business trip to the Americas with her husband, she had discovered the joy that is Starbucks and had become a convert.

She was also a woman who had become enamored of the current styles of American dress. Her old Victorian-style dresses made way for more modern lines, such as knee-length figure-hugging skirts and tight tops that exposed a nice amount of cleavage. Even her husband loved those types of clothes on her and he did everything possible to try and get her out of them, much to her everlasting amusement.

image

Sally wandered in from the kitchen, a coffee pot cradled carefully in her hands. She leaned in to refill Elvira’s cup as the latter was reading the newspaper. Elvira glanced up briefly with a smile.

“Thank you, Sally.”

“Mhm.” Sally stated, sounding distracted. Elvira looked at her long-time servant over the top of the paper, one eyebrow arched in question.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” Sally muttered.

“Sally, how long have you been my servant?”

“Hmm…a couple of centuries now.”

“I can tell when something is bothering you. Spill.” Elvira pointed to a chair, indicating Sally should sit.

“I miss the girls.” Sally stated after a lengthy silence.

“Athena and Dominique?”

“Yes.”

“I miss them, too.” Elvira sighed.

“Have you heard from them?”

“Athena is with her troupe in Russia and Dominique is in Japan. From what she told me when she called the other night, her latest single has gone Platinum.”

“Did you ever imagine she would be so popular with her music?”

“She was a singer in a burlesque club, for Hell’s sake!” Elvira chuckled. “I never thought her voice would get her this far.”

“Neither did I. And Athena…she’s amazing.” Sally sighed.

“All my girls are amazing. It’s hard to play favorites with them.”

“And you shouldn’t have to.” Sally smiled, getting to her feet. There was the sound of male voices coming nearer and both women turned toward the open doors to see Gerald and Virgo talking animatedly between them. Elvira felt her mouth go dry as she looked over her husband’s well-toned physique. The centuries had been VERY kind to her mate. There wasn’t an anounce of fat on him and he looked very enticing in his choice of swimwear. Even her succubus sat up and took notice. The man never failed to make her melt like butter, no matter what he did or wore.

Sally must have noticed the look on Elvira’s face for she swiftly jabbed her mistress in the shoulder with her elbow. Elvira whipped her head around to glare at her, wondering why she did that.

“You’ve got a bit of drool on your chin.” Sally chuckled before she headed back into the kitchen. Embarassed, Elvira grabbed a napkin to wipe her face before she dived behind the newspaper. It would only server her right if her husband had heard Sally’s remarks.

Dining Room – Marulo Estate

The sound of voices coming from the dining room, along with the subtle smells of a good morning breakfast had Virgo turn sharply towards the Dining room.  He could see Sally and his adored wife Elvira deep in conversation.  Course, he was still fresh out of the pool, with just a towel around his waist and one in his hand that he used to dry his hair.  Virgo was actually surprised that his beautiful wife was out of bed.  Tossing the wet towel over his shoulder to one of the staffers, he sauntered in, bare chested and still glistening in places.

“Good morning, Ladies.”

Virgo made a bee line for the delicious spread, while Cookie came in with a tray covered plate of bacon.  She gasped as she saw the near naked Count hovering over the danishes.  “Sir!”  Cookie said abrubtly, the tray in her hand shaking.  Virgo looked up, slightly amused and then took the tray from her trembling hands.  Had the woman not seen a man fresh out of the pool before.  “I’ll take that off your hands, Cookie.” Gerald couldn’t hide his smile if he tried as the poor woman huffed and then didn’t know where to look.  “Oh my!”  Cookie blustered, while Gerald coughed loud enough with his curled fist near covering his mouth.  Virgo glanced over at him and raised a brow.  “Shouldn’t you get dressed, Sir?’  Gerald asked, as a flushed faced Cookie went back to the kitchen empty handed.  Virgo looked down at his wet towel around his waist, and then tore it off, leaving only the speedos on.  He tossed the second towel to the nearest staffer and then looked back at Gerald and asked;  “Better?”

Gerald rolled his eyes, as Virgo took a piece of bacon, and took a bite.  He then wandered over to his wife, who was sitting so daintly in her chair at the table.  Grinning at Sally, he then rubbed his bulge against the back of the chair that Elvira was sitting in, and chortled.  “Elvira loves it.”  He bent down and nipped at her neck, his breath ripe with the scent of cooked bacon.  Knowing that this was likely to cause a scandal he then grabbed the nearest paper, and went upstairs to get dressed for the day, leaving the rest of those in the room to discuss the morning’s news.  From the stairs Virgo sung out;

“Love you, hunny!”

All these years, and Virgo was still as cheeky as when they first met.

Coming back down a good ten minutes later, Virgo was dressed in a day suit in black, with matching shoes and a white shirt, with black tie.  He had a business meeting that morning, and having showered and looking presentable, he was ready to join Elvira for breakfast.  Taking a seat beside her, he reached for the coffee pot and poured himself a cup.  Blowing on the steaming brew, he asked his beloved;

“Heard from the kids?”

Dining Room

Cookie came in with the tray of bacon she’d been dishing up when she stopped dead in her tracks upon seeing Virgo. The woman, after centuries of being their cook had never gotten used to Virgo’s overt displays of sexuality and today was no exception. The woman was simply scandalized and didn’t know where to turn her gaze.

Virgo, as was his usual, took no notice, even going so far as to take off the towel around his waist and tossing it to Gerald. Elvira nearly swallowed her tongue.

“That is definitely NOT better!” she sent to him through their thoughts.

With a grin, he sauntered up behind her, rubbing his lower body against her back and she had to clamp down tight on the urge to turn in her seat and take him into her mouth then and there. Succubus by nature, it was a struggle not to try and shock the watching staff, although they had done that on more then one occasion over the years.

“Tease!” She snarled as he turned and headed to their room to dress for the day.

He laughed as he left the room, calling out to her as he did. “Love you, hunny!”

“Love you, too.” she giggled.

“He will never change.” Gerald chuckled, shaking his head as bent to kiss Sally on the cheek.

“Do you really expect him to?” Elvira wondered.

“Our lives would be boring if he did.”

“Exactly.”

Virgo came back down ten minutes later, dressed immaculately in a three-piece business suit. He had taken to the current men’s fashions like a child in a candy store and had a whole closet in their room with just these types of suits.

He sat beside her, pouring himself a cup of coffee. He made it to his own specifications before looking at his wife beside him.

“Heard from the kids?”

“Mhm. Dominique called me last night. She’s in Japan at the moment. She tells me the tour is doing really well but she’s feeling a bit homesick. According to her schedule, she has one more date in Italy then she’ll be coming home for the US leg of her tour. After I ended the call with her, I got a text message from Athena. She’s really enjoying Russia.” She sighed, thinking about her two girls. She missed them when they weren’t home with her. Elvira was definitely feeling Empty Nest Syndrome. With Damion and Sam living in their own home (even if it was on the estate) and Artemis working daily at the factory…She sighed again. She needed to find something to do before she went stir-crazy.

As always, Virgo was delighted to get news about the children. Long time grown, they had made names for themselves, in entertainment and business which made Virgo a very proud man.  The only down side to this, was that they were so far from home.  The Alpha knew that his wife pined for the children, as they were the true light in her life.  While having two of them close, such as Damion and Artemis; they had some social interaction.  Virgo nodded and showed a wide smile on hearing how well the girls were doing.  The years had made the world smaller, what with planes and the newest social technology which Virgo was still trying to embrace.  It was one thing to look the part in a modern world, but a whole nother thing to understand the changes.  He had long ago accepted his son’s choice to be with a man, and this had led to many happy years for the family.  Why, his son in law as he liked to call him, Sam Malone had designed the wonderful mansion that they called home.  A credit to his talent and skill.

“Dominique is heading back here?  Wonderful.  Soon as she touches down, we have to have her come stay.  Gerald, make sure her old room is ready for her.  I want everything just perfect.”

As Dominique was the next head of the family, Virgo always wanted her to know where her true home was. He reached under the table and ran his hand across his wife’s thigh, smirking as he did so, and a light throaty growl could be heard.  He was always touchy feely when it came to Elvira.  He knew he teased her terribly when he had come in from the pool, but that was something he just couldn’t help.  He was just like that around her.  Hell, if he could, he would have gone starkers.

Only a text message from Athena?  Virgo took out his cell and checked.  Sadly, the girl only seemed to text her mother.  He stabbed at the device a few times, then grunted.  “Can never understand these things.”  Virgo tossed the cell on the table with a dull thud, before looking back at his wife.  He could tell she was unsettled.  He thought for a moment.

“Did you want to come to the office with me today?  Get out of the house?  I could suggest we go and…make more babies if that would give you something to do.”

Did he really just suggest that?  Gerald coughed.  “Remember how sick Elvira got last time she had the twins?”

Virgo suddenly remembered and then frowned.  He had totally forgotten about that.  He then thought some more.  Beaming, he asked her;  “How about we get involved with the local horse club?  I love seeing you ride…”  Again with the innuendo.

Sam and Damion’s Residence – Marulo Estate.

image

Sam Malone was now heralded as a man of vision when it came to the types of buildings and houses that he created with his astute mind for detail and passion for the enviroment.  Having created the sprawling Marulo house, he went on to make one for his lover and mate Damion, but one that would fit in perfectly with the charm and serenity of the New Hampshire area.  Set within the same grounds as Damion’s parents abode, this charming lake side condo had everything a man could ever dream of.  With a spacious floor plan, mutiple levels and walls of glass that allowed the outside to come in, it was a jewel in the estate.  No expense was spared in it’s creation, and Sam made sure to put his own special touch on the design, but allowed Damion free reign on the interior design and furnishings.  Needless to say the result was simply magnificent.

The modern day Sam Malone, had adjusted to the changes that time brought since the heady days of the roaring twenties, when he first met his lover, Damion Marulo.  Their love and courtship was sorely tested by the fact that his father; Virgo had a great deal of trouble accepting the pairing.  He had hoped that Damion would be the next great Alpha to lead the family pack.  That role would fall instead to his sister, Dominique; who was travelling the world in the modern day.  A singer with extroidnary talent, she also had the strong will and determination to one day lead the clan to greatness as her father Virgo had done.

This day had Sam in the kitchen, going over some emails on his notepad while he waited for his coffee to brew.  Dressed impeccably in a smart business suit, he had to go into town to visit with a new client, who had come all the way from upstate New York to put forward ideas for a new housing developement.  The subtle scent of the coffee brewing would be sure to wake his lover Damion from his slumber.

Finishing his emails, he decided to wander down the hall and see if Damion was awake.  He opened the door to their master suite and stepped in with a warm smile.

“Dominique is heading back here? Wonderful. Soon as she touches down, we have to have her come stay. Gerald, make sure her old room is ready for her. I want everything just perfect.”

Elvira felt her husband’s hand caressing her thigh, a light teasing growl rumbling past his lips as he did so. She smirked slightly, feeling her skin heat up a few degrees beneath his hand.

“Don’t start something you can’t finish, darling.” she grinned.

As she had mentioned Athena’s text, he yanked out his phone, pressing random buttons. Annoyed, he tossed it across the table, much to Elvira’s amusement. She patted his arm. “Even the best of us cannot understand technology, my love.” she smiled.

“Did you want to come to the office with me today? Get out of the house? I could suggest we go and…make more babies if that would give you something to do.”

“Remember how sick Elvira got last time she had the twins?” Gerald reminded him. Elvira had to agree. Being sick at the levels she had been when pregnant both times was not something she enjoyed. She loved her children, she hated being sick. And she didn’t think she was ready to breed again. The timing was all wrong.

“Virgo, I know how much you’d like a large family, but I’m not ready just yet.” she told him, hoping he wouldn’t be too disappointed.

“How about we get involved with the local horse club? I love seeing you ride…”

She chuckled darkly and squeezed in closer to him, running her fingers slowly along his inner thigh.

“You just love seeing me in tight pants.” she whispered into his ear, her warm breath sending shivers down his spine.

Sally rolled her eyes at the two of them. After centuries and 4 children together, they were still a couple very much in love.

She shared a look with Gerald, the two of them quietly leaving the Marulos to their breakfast.

Sam and Damion’s Bedroom

Sam had been awake for much longer then Damion. Damion had worked late at the plant the night before, crawling into bed just after 2 am that morning. He was still asleep when Sam went to check on him.

Laying in bed, Damion was oblivious to his mate’s presence, still deeply asleep. The sunlight from the wide windows blanketed his skin in its bright hues, turning Damion’s skin nearly bronze. He wore no shirt, choosing to sleep in a pair of loose sleeping pants that rode low on his hips. He had an arm thrown over his eyes, instinctively blocking out the light of the new day as his body caught up on the sleep he had been missing.

His father had delegated more and more work to his only son, and Damion, in typical Marulo fashion, had brought the company from the bottom to the top, making it one the most successful companies in the world. But it was taking its toll on him and it was beginning to show. But Damion hated to disappoint his father and was glad that his sister had decided to help him.

As he swam up from sleep, feeling a bit warm beneath the rays of the morning sun, a muffled sound caught his attention, that of a door opening.

“Early bird gets the coffee.” a familiar voice murmured near his ear. With a sleepy smile, he came to full wakefulness, removing his arm from his eyes to stare groggily at his husband/mate. He wrapped an arm around Sam’s neck and pulled him in for a deep and loving kiss before drawing back with a small smile.

“Mmm. Good morning.” Damion murmured, his eyes sliding closed as his body wanted to go back to sleep. “What time is it?” he wondered, running his fingers through his hair.

Out of the corner of Virgo’s eye he could see Gerald and Sally take their leave, so that the couple could speak more freely without being judged.  Virgo as always loved to be touching his wife, and his wandering hand had moved further up her thigh till it slipped to the space within them.  Teasing lightly with his fingers, he held a bemused expression when Elvira stated that he loved to see her in tight pants.  “Pants or not, it doesn’t matter to me.  Watching you ride always has given me a thrill.  Why, is that not how I first met you?  Riding like a wild woman across that open park?”  His voice had a lusty edge – a deep sounding tone that was unmistakable, especially to Elvira.  But as much as he wanted to tease her about the happy memories of another era, he knew that something was troubling her and had been for some time.  He himself was starting to feel like he was behind the times with his own company.  Damion in his mind was doing such a fine job as the new CEO, that Virgo was wondering if he too should start looking at a new venture to keep him busy.  With those dark hues, he stared into his wife’s eyes.

“I think we both need to explore our options on how to spend our days.  Gerald was right about you and being pregnant, as much as I enjoy making our young.  Heh.”

Virgo had not aged in centuries, but time was starting to make things difficult.  Not having the children on hand also meant that he was longing for something more.  Easing back in his chair, though his hand still firmly placed between her thighs, Virgo mused.

“Do you think I have pushed Damion a bit too far with the business?  I mean, its such a success, but I wonder if maybe its time I let go and allow the children to shine.”  Virgo obviously was feeling a little bit more like Elvira than he had come to realize.

A buzzing came from Virgo’s cell phone as it was just out of reach.  The caller name was….”Roxburg.”

Sam and Damion’s Bedroom.

Damion kissed his husband with such love and passion, that Sam couldn’t hold back but return it with his own ignited desire.  A minute or two of heavy petting, and Sam finally came up for air.  He could see that Damion was still tired after his late night and a tad groggy to boot.  Hence the need for coffee.  Asking Sam what time it was, Sam answered; “Just before 8am.  I am pretty sure your first meeting is at….9am.”  Sam it seemed knew Damion’s schedule better than he did.   Pulling back, he looked at the clock.  “Mhm…you have about an hour to get ready.  Want me to go make you some breakfast?”  Sam was usually the one to rise and get things ready for them in the morning, as he knew of his lover’s need for sleep.  He had been working hard to keep up with his father’s wishes, and Sam worried that Damion may suffer from burnout if he wasn’t careful.  Sam went into Damion’s closet and started to hunt for one of Damion’s better suits, leaving his lover to try and wake up some more.
