Elvira watched him go, hunger in her eyes as she watched his retreating backside. And what a lovely backside it was. She couldn’t wait to feel his muscular body pounding her into the wall, the bed, the table top, whatever flat surface they could find. Gerard was well aware of her thoughts at that moment and mentally shook his head. “Still in love and lust after all these centuries.” he thought to himself.
Elvira shook herself, bringing her thoughts back to the present and not trying to wonder if her husband was getting naked in their room. She went in search of her daughter.
Dominique sat at the table, sipping a glass of orange juice and reading the newspaper as her mother stepped into the room.
“Nice to see you awake for once.” Elvira smiled, kissing the top of her daughter’s head. Domi looked up at her mother and grinned.
“Damion woke me or I’d probably still be in bed.”
“Darling, you work too hard. You’re too young for that.” Elvira sighed, sitting down next to her at the table. One of the servants set a cup of tea before her with her thanks.
“Oh, mum. How many times must we have this conversation?” Dominique sighed.
“I know. I know. But I am allowed to be concerned. It’s a mother’s duty.”
“And I appreciate it, but I’m fine. I know the hours are long but the money is great.”
“As long as you’re happy with what you are doing.” Elvira stated.
“I get to sing and dance. Two of my favorite pastimes. That’s all that matters.” Dominique grinned, taking her mother’s hand and giving it a squeeze. “Where’s Daddy?”
“Upstairs.” Elvira grinned. At that, Dominique didn’t know whether to grin or roll her eyes.
“M-uuuuuu-th-errrrrr!” Dominique groaned. “I don’t want to know what you and Daddy get up to.” Elvira giggled and patted her daughter’s hand, before her look turned more serious. Dominique noticed the mood change and wondered about it. “What’s wrong? Are you and Daddy fighting?”
“No. It’s nothing like that.” Elvira smiled, reassuring her daughter that she and her father were more than all right. “What do you think…of your father and I having another baby?”
Dominique stared at her mother in surprise, sitting back in her seat after releasing her mother’s hand.
“Is this something you both want?” Dominique wondered. She wasn’t concerned with her parents’ advancing ages. Being who they were, they were pretty much ageless. But another baby? Dominique was surprised her mother had asked her opinion about it.
“Your father was the one to bring it up. It surprised me.” And it surprised Dominique as well.
“How do you feel about it?”
“Quite pleased, to be honest. I’d been thinking about having another one for quite some time now. I just didn’t know how to go about discussing it with your father.” Elvira admitted.
“Well I think it’s a wonderful idea. This house needs more laughter and love in it. And you and Daddy are pretty keen parents.” Dominique smiled. “After all…you did raise me and Domi.”
Elvira laughed, pulling her daughter into a hug, before she got to her feet. “I better go check on your father. No telling what he gets up to if I’m not around to temper him.”
“Just…lock the door.” Dominique made a face. Elvira grinned, wiggling her eyebrows at her daughter.
“Will we see you at dinner?” Elvira wondered before she stepped away from the table.
“Mhm. I don’t have to work until later so I will be here.”
“Oh good. I hope your brother is able to join us as well. It’s been some time since we had a family get-together.”
“I’ll find him and drag him back if I have to.” Dominique grinned. “Now go see to Daddy. You know how impatient he gets.”
“True.” Elvira smiled. “I’ll see you at dinner.” She left the room, heading up the grand staircase to her room she shared with her husband. Though most couples of the age thought sharing a room was completely taboo, Elvira and Virgo had no such issues with it. They enjoyed laying together, sleeping and waking in each other’s arms. It was proof of their great love for one another and they would not conform to societies standards. It was not their nature to do so. Had been since the beginning.
Virgo & Elvira’s Bedroom
Elvira sauntered into their bedroom looking around for her husband. He was not in their bed waiting for her as she assumed.
“Virgo?” she called out for him as she turned to lock their bedroom door, honoring her daughter’s request.
